Sunshine Charters of Charleston organiseert vistrips vanuit Charleston, South Carolina en biedt aan om u te laten zien waar de lokale visserij om draait.
Schipper Stephen zal zijn best doen om ervoor te zorgen dat u een leuke dag vol vissen heeft. Hij is gespecialiseerd in bodemvissen, allemaal om u aan de beet te krijgen. Dit omvat trips van 4 uur, voornamelijk vissend op Zeebaars, Redfish, Schaapskopbrasem, Amerikaanse Bot, Trommelvis, Haaien, Bull Reds en Gevlekte Ombervis, afhankelijk van het seizoen en de omstandigheden van de dag.
Uw avontuur begint aan boord van een 2025 25' Sportsman boot die maximaal 6 vissers kan accommoderen. De boot is uitgerust met een koelbox, een draadloze trollingmotor en een pinankering.
De prijs van uw trip omvat alle hengels, molens en eindmateriaal die u nodig heeft voor een productieve dag op het water. Uw trip omvat alle benodigde visvergunningen voor de dag en u mag alle legaal gevangen soorten tijdens de trip houden.
Er zal gratis water aan boord zijn voor uw gemak tijdens de trip, maar u mag gerust uw eigen drankjes of snacks meenemen als u dat liever heeft.
Dit is een kindvriendelijke charter, dus u mag uw kinderen gerust meenemen voor een leuk visavontuur.

First time fishing in South Carolina

This was our first trip to Charleston, SC we wanted to try a fishing trip in our short visit. We weren’t sure what to expect as it was February and the temperatures were colder then usual. Captain Steve was great! Very informative about the area and the fishing. We tried several spots but due to the weather and conditions we were not successful on carching. The views and ride in the boat were wonderful. we got to see dolphins, pelcans, bald eagl and other birds. When we come to SC afain we will for sure book with Sunshine Chartes. Thank you for the adveture!!

Beautiful day on a beautiful boat!

Our fishing experience with Captain Stephen was exceptional. It was a gorgeous day on a beautiful, well-kept boat, and Stephen was attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He constantly adjusted our location to make sure we were right where the fish were biting. We caught red fish, spotten sea trout, mini black drum and several croaker!
We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water…. we got a bonus seeing baby dolphins jumping!
Highly recommend!

Inshore fishing trip

Our family recently booked a four hour inshore fishing trip with Sunshine Charters of Charleston. We had never been on a fishing charter, but knew that we wanted to target redfish. During the booking process, I explained our fishing interests to Captain Storey. He reached out to us prior to the trip with a meeting place and was very attentive. He even sent a message the day before asking if we could move our trip up by 30 minutes due to barometric pressure and tides so our trip would be more productive. On the day of the charter, he arrived at the ramp ready to go right on time. Once we left the ramp, he put us on a fishing spot within 10 minutes. That particular spot didn't produce what we wanted, so he took us to the next spot. He knew exactly where to cast at that location and before long, our oldest son had his first redfish. We fished a few more spots and all four of us (my wife and two teenage boys) caught several redfish, Atlantic croakers, a black drum, and even a sting ray. We caught our limit on redfish and had a great time. Captain Storey's boat and fishing equipment is in great shape and he was very professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely book with him when we go back to Charleston.

Big Smiles, Big Bass – A Day to Remember!

We had an unforgettable day out on the water with Sunshine Charters of Charleston and Captain Steve! I brought my parents and my three boys (ages 6, 8, and 11), and Captain Steve made the entire experience smooth, fun, and memorable for all of us. He was incredibly patient, attentive, and sociable—truly a delight to fish with! We even saw dolphins!! What a sight to see!
Captain Steve knew exactly where to take us, and thanks to his expertise, we were able to land a big spot-tailed bass! The kids were beyond excited, and it was a moment they’ll be talking about for a long time. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or bringing along little ones for their first time, I highly recommend booking with Sunshine Charters and Captain Steve. Can’t wait to do it again!

3 Hour Fishing Charter op April 4, 2025 • 4 volwassenen
Was in Charleston for a long weekend and my college girls wanted to try fishing. Apparently they have seen some tiktok videos and thought it looked fun. Steve the captain was a very nice guy and knew the waterways and fishing spots. First place was active - for fish and bugs! We got mauled and told him if we caught 50 fish there, and none elsewhere, we would take none! So we left and looked for a new spot. Hit some dry holes - last stop of the day - we just did 3 hours - we caught 2 good size fish quickly, each of my girls. So all went home happy. Even if we did not, appreciated Steve's efforts and experience.
