These waters are known for Snook, Redfish, Sheepshead, Tarpon, Black Drum, Snapper, Jack Crevalle, Kingfish, Narrow-barred Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish you catch are yours to keep, provided they’re legal to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

Hop aboard the 25’ Morgan boat, newly restored in 2023. This center console is fitted with a toilet and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Capt. Nick will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, which means all you have to do is show up ready for a good time!

Capt. Nick welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock, and bottled water. Also, remember to bring some drinks and snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

There really aren’t enough accolades I can share about Captain Nick. It had the potential to be a tough day - weather was iffy, forecast was worse. Nick was prepared for EVERYTHING. When the weather got more difficult, he found us a great spot under overpasses with the right bait for fishing. When the weather was good, he put us in amazing spots with great bait to catch some choice snook, and what was telling was that he was disappointed in them. Captain Nick is a true fisherman, a gentleman and I can’t wait to get back out with him again in April (bringing some other cousins this time) and July 2026. Thank you so much bud

Captain Nick was great! He exceeded our expectations. My family are not avid fisherman, but Nick was great he was patient and helped us learn a little something about fishing. Everyone in the family caught several fish in a very short amount of time. In fact we caught enough fish to have dinner and enjoy the experience even further. I would highly recommend Nick. He even cleaned the fish for us. And the grand finale was we saw a manatee in the water as we were cleaning the fish. Go fishing with Nick you won’t regret it!

KICK ASS SHARK FISHING TRIP!!!

Shark Trip 4 Hours on June 7, 2025 • 4 adults

We had an amazing adventure with Captain Nick. He was an extremely friendly person and very knowledgeable of the locations and fish. We had a four hour morning shark fishing trip. Was totally worth every single penny. Seven sharks were caught! We also threw in lines a few more times before we were done and caught a massive snook, and another large fish. Captain Nick also showed us how to properly clean a black tip shark. Had those filets for supper. YUM. Definitely highly recommend. We will be booking with Captain Nick again.

We asked to catch, & Nick delivered. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and hands on helping the entire charter. We caught a ton of fish and had an absolute blast. No doubt we’d book with him again if we ever return and will recommend to anyone we know travelling to the Fort Myers area.

5 Hour Trip (4 persons max) on May 6, 2025

Captain Nick really knows his fishing, and you can tell he takes joy in helping his guests have an amazing experience. One of the few native Floridians we've met, and he has fished these waters his whole life so knows great spots that aren't crowded. He was super flexible with our booking and tailored a trip that including hitting our limit on seat trout (for dinner), along with fishing for Snook (caught a bunch of big ones), Redfish and Tarpon. We had a blast and even after catching a bunch of fish, Nick was determined to take us new places and help us catch even more. Would highly recommend going out with Captain Nick and Grand Slam Charters!
