These waters are known for Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail Amberjack, Shark, Sand Bass, Rockfish, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Halibut, and more. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Depending on the trip, you might also kite fish.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish and make the most of your trip. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% gratuity is customary and much appreciated. You can take home all of the fish you catch within size and bag limits. The Mate can even clean your catch for you. Make sure you have a cooler ready in the car!

Your vessel for the day is a 32’ Grady White Walkaround with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without, and there’s a Full Private Bathroom on board equipped with toilet, sink, and shower for your convenience.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Kids are welcome aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along!

Best family fishing trip!

4 Hour Trip – Inshore Afternoon on July 6, 2025 • 4 adults • 1 child

My husband and kids wanted a fun and easy fishing excursion on our California vacation. That’s exactly what we got! We had amazing communication leading up to the trip with every question answered and detailed information. The boat was comfortable and a smooth ride. Captain Aaron got us on the fish immediately. My son didn’t think he was going to catch anything and he couldn’t keep count after a while! They did everything from providing and cutting and placing the bait to instructing us on how to reel and educating us on the types of fish. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Aaron and crew were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were very patient with us as beginners and helped us every step of the way. Knew where to go for the best chances to catch fish. We caught 31 fish while rock fishing in the morning, 6 hours. Had a blast!

We had a great time out with Aaron. We caught a ton of fish right off the bat. Aaron was really knowledgeable on locations and what was currently biting. Our boys (and myself) learned a lot about off shore fishing. I would definitely book this again for our crew!

Great Off Season Trip

6 Hour Trip – Inshore on February 24, 2025 • 2 adults • 3 children

We were well informed that this is an off season trip and we would be targeting smaller species closer to shore. We were out with three boys (ages 12, 10, 8) and they had consistent action on Whitefish, Rock Fish, and some various different types of bass. Would love to make it out during prime season, but this was a great way to spend a day in February.
