We have a family-oriented, fun, and exciting fishing experience waiting for our clients! With a plethora of fishing lures for our clients to choose from, a beautiful experience awaits! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Tarek (T-Rex) can tell you all about the local fishery.

These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Pacific Barracuda, and more – with any luck; you’ll hook into a few!

For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish.

Your fishing machine for the day is a 29’ Saltwater fishing that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

A First Mate will be there to assist you and make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10%–20% tip at the end of the day is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Please bring a Photo ID to the boat, and there is a 4.712% Hawaii GET tax, 3% marina tax and 3% credit card surcharge. Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Our normal fishing trip starts 3 days before by checking the weather, currents, winds, and other variables to ensure the best experience. After that, we decide on a location and communicate to the client our options and what fish we might catch there.

It’s always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.

Captain Tarek and his Crew are the best

Half Day Bottom Fishing/Trolling PM on May 15, 2025 • 3 adults

Our trip with Captain Tarek and his crew was fantastic. It was more than just a fishing trip, it was a learning experience. Captain Tarek was attentive and explained things about the island, the sea bed, the fishing grounds, and even the weather. The conditions varied from one area to the next and Captain Tarek navigated them perfectly. Fishing was slow going but Captain Tarek got us on the fish. We caught 3 Skip Jack and a huge Yellow Fin Tuna(ahi). The crew Mikey and Captain Tareks son (sorry don't know how to spell his name) we're great and worked hard to set up the gear and especially to help us land our catches. They were all great to be around and you see they were as excited as we were to catch fish. We felt welcome and more like family from the very begining. There were three in our group, we all caught fish and we all agree this is the one to book when you come to fish on Oahu. Thanks for everything, from Joe, Ron and Alex, MAHALO!

Captain Tarek is GREAT!

3H Nearshore Fishing Trip on February 11, 2025 • 2 adults

Captain Tarek and first mate Mikey are very nice and knowledgeable. Right away they put my wife and I on the fish. We caught all jigging by hand, but he did spot some on the electronics while trolling we just couldn’t get them to bite. That’s why they call it fishing, not catching. I’ve been on ocean charters before and I like having the option to do both jigging and trolling. Switching it up is fun. Excellent service by both captain and first mate, and entertaining the whole time. I brought home some fish to eat, and we caught 3 new species. I’d definitely book again! Bonus: we got lucky and saw whales throughout the whole excursion!

Wanted to catch a Striped Marlin So We Did

Half Day Bottom Fishing/Trolling PM on January 16, 2025 • 3 adults

When booking the trip I knew Striped Marlin would be active although I had a limited time to go fish. Captain T. Rex improvised a 5 hour afternoon trolling outing. We wasted no time getting to Marlin waters. His deckhand Mike worked the entire time changing lures to find the right combination. They are not lazy they really worked the lure options and the fishing grounds. The hard work paid off and we landed a 70 pound Striped Marlin. At one point we had two hit at the same time and third chaseing the jigs. They found the fish and got them to hit. That's all you can ask for. Great job and hope to use them again. Great outing.

Captain Tarek and his first mate, who is also his son, are the two best professional watermen I have ever came across. They were extremely knowledgeable and teaching of their profession giving a once in a lifetime time experience for my son and I. They worked the entire time to not only make it a memorable venture but also put fish in the box. The next time I return to Oahu, they will be my first call!

Half Day Bottom Fishing/Trolling PM on June 30, 2025 • 3 adults • 1 child

From the first interaction, the crew was professional and constantly looking out for our safety. We encountered a rain shower and Captain Tarek rolled the windows down to keep us in the dry. We caught 2 big Marlin, a Skipjack Tuna and 2 Mahi Mahi. Our boys are 12 & 15 and they had an incredible experience and so many memories made. Sad when the fishing trip ended.
