If you’re ready to discover fishing in Panama City, book a trip with Reel Addiction 2 charters. With Captain James at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

Amberjack, Red Snapper, Hamour Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bull Shark, and more inhabit these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year.

On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. James can also take you Flounder gigging.

Capt. James is happy to have kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You’ll be welcome aboard a 25’ Center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

You can’t go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Reel Addiction 2 charters! Up to 6 people for the price of the trip!

Captain Jim and Bill were both really nice and knowledgeable. Communication was great. We had to reschedule a couple of times due to weather, which some people might complain about, but I appreciated the attention to safety. We caught several fish, nothing big enough to keep but we were just there to have fun so it was fine. We also had a couple of strikes against us with the wind and the full moon the night before so it was all understandable. Captain Jim did a good job of finding fish and tried to make sure each of our kids had a chance to make some good catches. Bill was on top of baiting our hooks and taking fish off. They were both pleasant to visit with. We had a really fun time and would recommend him to anyone.

Couldn't have asked for a better trip. Captain Jim and his deckhand Bill were fantastic. We had requested an offshore fishing experience. Unfortunately, after catching several Vermilion Snapper, a couple of us got a little sea sick. Captain Jim was quick to take us inshore to calmer waters and got us on fish right away. We were catching fish the entire trip! Deckhand Bill kept us baited up and poles in the water! Thanks guys for a great trip for my boys and I!

Had a really good time old man was on the ball rebating our poles, we caught a bunch of fish mainly all small but was still a thrill would definitely recommend Downfall we didn’t get out of the coast due to weather which I didn’t think was that bad medium to light winds but the boat isn’t very big so somewhat understandable Overall good trip caught a bunch of fish good friendly crew. I would use theses guys again but the conditions would have to be right to be able to go out in the ocean although it was still a blast they way we did it

The crew was top-notch, guiding us to prime spots where we reeled in a fantastic variety of fish— red, mangrove, and vermillion snapper, 3 species of grouper, and several big triggerfish! The boat was clean, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a successful day on the water. Captain Walker and First Mate Bill worked their tails off to keep catching fish the whole trip. Captain Walker knew exactly where to find the action, while Bill kept us rigged up so we always had our lines in the water. The weather was perfect, with calm seas and sunny skies, making for an unforgettable day on the water. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-timer, this trip delivers excitement and memories that’ll last a lifetime. Don’t know how anyone could rate anything less than 5 stars. Highly recommend booking with these pros!
