Schipper Dave is een levenslange Ocean City-visser die is opgegroeid op deze wateren en nu die passie deelt met gasten uit het hele land. Schipper Dave woonde tijdens de zomermaanden in OC tijdens zijn jeugd totdat hij naar de universiteit ging. Als vader van vijf zonen begrijpt hij precies hoe hij kinderen betrokken, veilig en blij moet houden op de boot.
Maat Connor, de zoon van Schipper Dave, is opgegroeid met vissen naast zijn vader over de hele Eastern Shore van Maryland en heeft talloze uren doorgebracht met het vangen van Bot in Ocean City. Maat Frank is een OC-local met jarenlange ervaring met vissen in deze wateren en werken met vissers van alle leeftijden. Frank en Connor delen de maattaken tijdens trips, wat zorgt voor praktische hulp gedurende de hele dag.
Kindvriendelijk & Stressvrij
We zijn altijd kindvriendelijk, met zwemvesten op kindermaat beschikbaar en geduldige hulp voor jonge vissers. Ons doel is eenvoudig: kinderen van de schermen af krijgen en op het water.
De Boot
U vist aan boord van een 26' op maat ontworpen MayCraft center console die comfortabel plaats biedt aan maximaal zes passagiers. Hij wordt aangedreven door een 2024 Suzuki 350pk buitenboordmotor en is volledig uitgerust met kwaliteitshengels, molens, materiaal, aas en moderne elektronica. Uw Maryland-visvergunning is inbegrepen.
Neem zonnebrandcrème, zonnebril, drankjes en snacks mee. Water en ijs worden verstrekt. Alcohol is toegestaan in matige hoeveelheden. Geen sterke drank, glazen flessen of bananen.

Good day on the Bay
Back Bay & Near Shore (7AM - 12PM) op August 7, 2025 • 4 kinderen
We purchased a Bay/Inshore 5hr trip. Unfortunately the conditions on the ocean were not great especially given we had 4 young kids, but Captain Dave alerted us the night before and gave us the option of canceling. We went forward with trip, just sticking to the bay. Capt Dave and First Mate Frank were great, very thorough with all the protocols, etc. Frank was on all the boys lines and they never waited to get bait and a line back in the water. We caught about 15 fish total. Boat was immaculate as well. Would def book again and hope the conditions allow for some inshore, etc trips.

**The Crew:**
The crew was fantastic! Captain Dave and First Mate Frank were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly. They made everyone feel welcome and were eager to share their expertise. Great first day out on the boat

We fished the early afternoon. Everyone caught something, but only one keeper. Captain Dave really worked hard to get us into the fish, moving multiple times to find some action. First Mate Frank had us ready at all times, baiting hooks and fixing snags and retrying lines when needed. I took four of my kids on the fishing trip and Captain Dave and Frank were great with them, teaching and helping while providing great conversation the whole trip. We didn’t even make it to the car and the kids were already talking about wanting to get up at 5am to go out again with Captain Dave to really get into the fish! Very good family atmosphere with the private charter. I can’t imagine having a better experience out on the water. We’ll be out with Captain Dave the next time we are back in town for sure. Many yhanks Nanticoke Outfitters, First Mate Frank and most importantly Captain Dave for giving us an experience we will never forget!

Amazing trip, huge value and great for kids

This was the first time both of my children had been fishing. Captain Dave and his first mate Frank were knowledgeable, patient and super kind to our family. They knew exactly where to go to catch fish and taught my kids everything they needed to know. They took care of everything, I would HIGHLY recommend this trip for experienced as well as novice anglers and everyone in between. Perfect for all ages! We will be making this trip an annual tradition when we visit Ocean City from now one! Thank you again Captain Dave! See you soon!

We had a wonderful experience with Captain Dave and First Mate Frank. We visited several different fishing locations to ensure that we caught some fish. They were attentive, patient, and make us feel comfortable the entire time. Capt. Dave quickly sent us pictures of our catch and they were very generous in explaining everything to us. We would recommend Nanticoke Outfitters for your next fishing trip.
