Als je van plan bent om op meerval te vissen in Pennsylvania, zoek dan niet verder dan Predator Getter Outdoors. Met schipper Austin aan het roer profiteer je van jarenlange kennis en ervaring in het vangen van de grootste aquatische apex-roofdieren die Pennsylvania te bieden heeft! De Flathead Meerval is de koning van de rivier!

Mijn doel is om alles in mijn macht te doen om ervoor te zorgen dat mijn gasten een leuke, veilige, plezierige en leerzame dag op het water hebben! We streven ernaar om herinneringen te maken die een leven lang meegaan!

Lente/vroege zomer en herfst zijn de beste tijden van het jaar om grote aantallen trofee-meervallen te vangen! We praktiseren vangen en loslaten van alle trofee-meervallen. We promoten het natuurbehoud van onze natuurlijke hulpbronnen om ervoor te zorgen dat mensen nog jarenlang van dit geweldige viswater kunnen genieten!

Predator Getter Outdoors verwelkomt kinderen aan boord, dus voel je vrij om er een familiedag van te maken! Vraag zeker of er kinderzwemvesten beschikbaar zijn; anders moet je je eigen zwemvest meenemen. Vergeet ook niet om snacks en drankjes mee te nemen voor de reis. De schipper heeft een koelbox aan boord om alles koel te houden.

Schipper Austin verwelkomt je aan boord van een 20' Jet-boot met ruimte voor 4 passagiers. Het komt met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een productieve dag op het water. Je vindt hengels, molens en materiaal die op je wachten. Levend aas is inbegrepen.

Je moet een geldige PA-visvergunning en een hoofdlamp meenemen om veilig rond de boot te navigeren in het donker en om te zien wat je doet terwijl je de grootste vis van je leven drilt!

Alle trips gaan door, regen of zonneschijn! Neem regenkleding mee! Vaak kunnen er tijdens het meervalseizoen plotselinge stormen optreden. Sommige van de allerbeste meervalsessies kunnen zijn op regenachtige nachten met hoog modderig water door recente regen.

Draag geschikte kleding voor het mogelijke weer. Bijvoorbeeld een UV-shirt en zonnebril voor een dagtrip en een hoodie voor een nachttrip. Voor vroege lente- en late herfstexcursies, warme gelaagde winterkleding.

Catfish Fishing EXCEEDS expectations!
Half Day Trip op August 31, 2025 • 3 volwassenen
Our family of 3 went out with Captain Austin for a 5 hour night fishing experience that was incredible. Austin made everything easy - communicated clearly about where and when to meet and he was ready to go with his awesome, comfortable and well-provisioned boat. He thinks of everything, down to having ice in the cooler to chill drinks and black lights that make the lines glow. His expertise is clear, but not all experts can teach as effortlessly as Austin. He is an easy conversationalist that clearly loves what he does- and his enthusiasm spread easily to myself, my wife, and our 14 year old son. Austin answered all our questions, and under his guidance we reeled those catfish in!!! Everything from an 8 pound catfish to over 40 pounds! Several different stops and we caught catfish at all of them! We left the evening with so much respect for this amazing species of flathead catfish. No doubt we will always remember this trip- there is nothing like bringing these huge fish in and then seeing them swim back to their homes. If we could give this trip 100 stars, we would!

I really can't say enough about Austin and our trip. First of all, we caught fish, and big ones. But more importantly Austin was such a good coach, was so educational, and his appreciation and respect towards the river and nature is something I really admired. There were 4 of us and Austin not only tolerated our jokes but constantly made sure we were getting the best opportunities to catch fish. If I could give 20 stars I would, and it its obvious why he has so many 5 star reviews. Will. Book. Again.

First flathead experience
Full Day Trip op August 24, 2025 • 2 volwassenen
Austin was awesome to fish with. He was super knowledgeable, chill and easy to get along with. This was our first time targeting flatheads and he definitely pulled through for us. We landed about 14 fish (lost count after a while). Would definitely recommend booking with him and we look forward to fishing again with him in the spring.

Austin is a great guide!!

This was my step son’s birthday present and we were not disappointed. 4 of us, 6hrs of fishing and landed 5 fish. 1 was 42lbs!!! What a great night with great conversations!! Austin is a great dude and very knowledgeable about flatheads and the Susquehanna River. Highly recommend this guy!!!
