Native voorziet in alle benodigde snorkeluitrusting en netten om ze in te verzamelen. Er is water, ijs en opbergruimte beschikbaar. Je krijgt hulp van de bemanning bij het verzamelen van je vangst en foto's van je ervaring.
De Florida Bay Sint-jakobsschelp leeft in zeegrasvelden in water op een diepte van 4 tot 10 voet. Sint-jakobsschelpen zijn gemakkelijk te vinden op of nabij de bodem van de zeegrasvelden en nabijgelegen zandvlaktes in de ondiepe wateren.
Schelpen zoeken is te vergelijken met een paaseierenjacht! Soms kunnen Sint-jakobsschelpen zelfs wegzwemmen wanneer ze je zien, maar ze zwemmen niet erg snel. Je snorkelt samen met hulp van een gids en bewaart je gevonden Sint-jakobsschelpen in een nettas. Geniet van het plezier en maak een herinnering die je zeker nooit zult vergeten!
De volledig uitgeruste boot is een ruim vaartuig met comfortabele zitplaatsen, overdekt om je tegen de zon te beschermen. Deze boot heeft ook een offshore marifoon, alle benodigde veiligheidsuitrusting, een kleuren GPS/fishfinder, evenals grote koelboxen en veel opbergruimte. Deze boot is zeer krachtig met 300 pk twin-motoren en biedt een zeer stabele vaart door zijn catamaran-ontwerp.

Fantastic trip

Had a great trip with Bobby and Alyssa. Fished half a day and Scalloped the other half. Bobby and Alyssa are one of the nicest couples you will ever meet. They work hard to make you feel at home on their well equipped boat. The weather was a little rough but that didn’t stop the 2 of them from trying to put us on fish. They went above and beyond running to different spots to put us on fish. The fish were not biting as much as we hoped it was not for lack of trying. We put a dozen mangroves in the box before heading back to Scallop. They put us on the Scallops…We managed to harvest our 4 gallons fairly quickly. I was a first timer and the two of them showed me what yo look for and I had a ball. Overall and excellent day with a great captain and 1st mate. Can’t wait to fish with them again.

In less than perfect weather conditions Bobby and Alyssa went above and beyond to get us a variety of fish and most importantly kept us comfortable and having fun! We were a group of 6 women with varying levels of skill and interest and they were accommodating in every situation. We are already trying to figure out when we can get back out on the water :)

Excellent scallop trip with best crew possible. Not only did they get us to and from a good location in a short time but also made special personal efforts to make sure that we got a good catch of scallops. Great experience and fun day with a super boat crew. We would recommend for anyone that wants to go scalloping

Bobby and his wife were very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. My family enjoyed their company . They both are very patient, easy going and made our day of fishing and scalloping a relaxing day of family fun. We even have clean and ready to cook fish for dinner! We absolutely will recommend them.

Feels like hanging out with your buddy on his really nice boat. All fun, no stress scalloping. We limited and the mate cleaned the catch before we returned to the dock (not a common service for scalloping guides). Sent us home ziplock bags full of fresh scallops. 10/10 will use again.
