Mavrik Sportfishing verwelkomt u in de prachtige wateren van San Diego. Met schipper James aan het roer heeft u een deskundige en ervaren gids.
Afhankelijk van het seizoen kunt u Blauwvintonijn, Yellowtail Horsmakreel, Geelvintonijn, Goudmakreel, Calico Bass, Californische Schaapskop, Groenling (Lingcod), Rockfish, Heilbot en alles wat bijt vangen. U vist met licht materiaal, popping, trollen, bodemvissen, of misschien iets meer gespecialiseerd in dit gebied. Schipper James biedt ook vissen met vlieger aan.
De gloednieuwe 34-voets Freeman biedt uitzonderlijke aascapaciteit, ongeëvenaard comfort, ruime visopslag en veel dekruimte om vanaf te vissen. Er is een toilet aan boord voor uw gemak. U vindt hengels, molens en materiaal klaarliggen, samen met kunstaas en levend aas.
Mogelijk moet u voor de trip een lokale visvergunning aanschaffen. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of u kunt het aan de schipper vragen. Sommige soorten mogen niet gevangen worden of vereisen een speciale vergunning, dus zorg ervoor dat u weet wat u kunt verwachten.
Enkele essentiële zaken om mee te nemen zijn zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray), een hoed, flessenwater en een zonnebril. Als u andere drankjes wilt meenemen, vraag het gerust. Alcohol is in matige hoeveelheden toegestaan, zolang u sterke drank en glazen flessen vermijdt.

Blue fin tuna spearfishing trip

It’s been a life long dream to go on spearfishing trip. During the years prior I have done a ton of research on who is the best captain, and from what I found was Captain James Fisher. From all the captains that I have followed on social media, no one stood out more than captain James, his track record of being on the fish on every trip that he went out on is remarkable. Before I even met Captain James I followed him on social media for years, and then finally my friends and I decided to do a blue fin trip together. We all agreed that Captain James is the one to go with. His fishing knowledge is nothing that I’ve ever seen. Being a former sportfishing captain myself, I was highly impressed with Captain James, fishing skills, and his overall knowledge of the area of Southern California and Mexico captain James put me on a once in a lifetime fish I will never forget that! So if you are looking for the right Captain, that will be on the fish, look no further Captain James is who you want to book with on Maverick sport fishing.

Full day big bluefin fishing with captain James

Captain James was the perfect choice for full day trip looking for big blue fin. He is a master at his craft and works extremely hard to get you on em. We had multiple opportunities at some very picky bluefin. Captain James was persistent untill we got one to bite. We went on the 28ft Boston whaler and it was perfect! We plan to book with Captain James again in 2 months. Can't wait!

Awesome day with Captain James. He is a passionate and talented fisherman who does his best to put his clients on fish. I have fished with James many times and his program is first class. Excellent instincts and an all around waterman. I would recommend him to any group of fisherman from beginners to seasoned veterans, looking for the fish of a lifetime.

Great day fishing with Captain Brian

Had an absolute blast fishing with the guys at Mavrik. Everything was set up great. Easy getting on in the morning. Very knowledgeable and attentive when it came to the actual fishing. Captain Brian had the fish processor all set up before we even got back. Will definitely be going again!

We had a great day of fishing and caught a few triple diget fish . If you are new to fishing tuna or go.out alot I highly recommend this trip. I fish once a month during the summer . First time with this outfit 10 outta 10
