Book your next trip with Ferg’s Fishing Charters and find out what you're missing in Holmes Beach. Your guide for the day is Captain Will, which allows you to benefit from years of sportfishing experience.
These waters are known for Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.
You'll target your catch by spinning, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be casting lines from a 25' Carolina Skiff bay boat that holds up to 5 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Will Ferguson did an amazing job with our family for our first fishing trip using a charter captain. He was very patient with our children (ages 6,7, and 14). He had everything ready and organized on his boat when he picked us up. He took us to different spots to catch different kinds of fish. The entire time he baited, helped cast the line for all my kids, and even helped reel in the many fish we caught. Highlight of my son’s day was catching his very first snook. We even saw a family of dolphins! He was very knowledge and a wonderful captain. He exceeded our expectations and we will definitely book again with Captain Will in the future.

Best Fishing Charter!
4 Hour Trip – Inshore Fishing on June 30, 2023
"Best fishing charter ever!!" This is what my 14 year old son and his friend said at the end of the trip. This is saying a lot because collectively they have done over 20 fishing charters in Florida west coast waters. They had an epic day! Captain Will put them right on the fish. He was very patient with them and helped them land snooks, reds, and more all morning. We will definitely use Captain Will as our guide again next time we are in AMI! Thanks Will for an unforgettable day!!

Excellent fishing day with Captain Will

Captain Will did an excellent job getting us on the fish! We caught tons of snook and redfish! He was good at the little details, such as baiting our hooks for us, and showing us where to cast. His boat easily held the four of us, and we had plenty of room to fish without bumping into each other. He was friendly and fun, and we had an awesome day on the water. He took strides to make sure that every person was able to catch plenty of fish! I highly recommend Captain Will!
