Captain Steve specializes in drift fishing and wade fishing the flats in the bay for Redfish, Flounder, and Speckled Trout. When the weather conditions are favorable, you can venture nearshore, bottom fishing for Red Snapper. If you prefer trolling, go for King Mackerel.

You’ll be fishing on a 22’ Majek Redfish Line boat that accommodates up to 4guests. This bay boat is powered by a 175 HP Mercury engine, features navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and a cooler. Captain Abel is a licensed USCG Captain and has all the necessary safety equipment on board, so you can feel safe and enjoy your fishing trip.

You’ll fish with lures, both hard and soft plastics. Cut bait for bottom fishing is the best choice if you’re targeting big Redfish. You can also use live bait such as live pinfish, live shrimp, and live croaker. Don’t miss out on the chance to fish with a popping cork, the way big trout like it.
