Maak een avontuur van je volgende reis naar Bokeelia en ga vissen met Captain Mark's Fishing. Met vele uren ervaring op deze getijden kan Captain Mark je alles vertellen over de lokale visserij.
Deze wateren staan bekend om Grote Barracuda, Hamerhaai, Stierhaai, Zwartpunthaai, Citroenhaai, Tijgerhaai, Lane Snapper, Grijze Zeebaars (Grijze Snapper), Gag Tandbaars, Itajara, Rode Tandbaars, Grijze Trekkervis en meer. Op de dag van je trip ga je waarschijnlijk bodemvissen met licht of zwaar materiaal.
Je bevindt je aan boord van een 22' Center console met ruimte voor 6 passagiers en een toilet. Het heeft alle essentiële zaken waar geen vismachine zonder kan. Kapitein Mark heeft hengels en molens voor je, samen met kunstaas. Levend aas is beschikbaar, maar vraag er zeker naar zodat je weet of je het zelf moet vangen.
De charterboot dekt je visvergunning, dus het enige wat je hoeft te doen is klaarstaan voor een goede tijd! Houd er rekening mee dat sommige soorten speciale regels of beperkte seizoenen kunnen hebben. Als je niet weet wat je kunt verwachten, vraag het de schipper.
Denk je erover om de hele familie mee te nemen? Kinderen zijn welkom! Vraag zeker of er zwemvesten op kindermaat beschikbaar zijn. Het meenemen van snacks, drankjes, zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray), een hoed en een zonnebril is nooit een slecht idee. IJs is voor je beschikbaar. Alcohol is toegestaan in matige hoeveelheden, zolang je sterke drank en glazen flessen vermijdt.

In the last 3 hours alone, we caught 1200lbs of fish. Never thought a fish could make me so sore. The fishing was great but the captain truly made the trip. Would highly reccomend the fishing and the captain!

Communication was great. We actually went on Tuesday, not Saturday cuz Mark didn’t like the weather for Saturday. Captain Mark was all ready for us when we got there at 8am. He explained where everything was onboard in case we needed something. He was very informative about other boats and houses along the canal leading to our destination. I booked the shark fishing for my 14 yr old son and he thoroughly enjoyed talking with Captain Mark and soaking up all the information he could from him! On our way back into land, we spotted a couple dolphins and Mark got them to play in the wake of the boat. It was so breathtaking to see them play like that. Even though we didn’t get to catch a shark, it was hands down the best part of our vacation to be hanging with Captain Mark out on the Big Blue! Thanks for a great experience Mark and we will definitely be doing it again in the future!! 100% recommend this captain!!!

A very timely captain who took his clientele into account. We caught many snapper and grouper on our excursion. We are novice fisherman who he coached well. We also hooked up with one large shark and caught a juvenile tiger shark. Weather was less than ideal, initially, and he did his best to make up for it. If you want a captain who values the ocean, has a love for marine aquatics, and isn’t afraid to share his wealth of knowledge…this is your guy, We were very happy with our day and look forward to fishing with Captain Mark again!!!

Really friendly and gived good informatios. I catched my first shark.. 300 pounds. Nothing toncompare with freshwater fishing. ;) Really respectfull with and fauna.
