Deze wateren staan bekend om Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lingcod, Heilbot, Bot, Klipvis, Black Rockfish, en meer – met een beetje geluk heb je strakke lijnen in no time. Tijdens deze tochten kun je verwachten te trollen op zalm en te ankeren voor Heilbot. Kapitein David kan je ook meenemen om te jigging op Klipvis en Lingcod. Alle vis binnen de wettelijke limiet mag je houden. Bovendien kun je je vangst laten schoonmaken. Dat is pas een maaltijd! Vraag naar Krab en Garnalen!
Wil je met het hele gezin naar buiten? Kinderen zijn van harte welkom! Zwemvesten op kindermaat zijn beschikbaar, of je kunt je eigen zwemvest meenemen als je een voorkeur hebt. En je kunt nooit fout gaan met wat snacks zodat niemand chagrijnig wordt met een lege maag! Neem verfrissingen mee, ook voor volwassenen, knipoog!!
Kapitein David vaart op een 28' Cruiser die tot 6 passagiers kan vervoeren. Deze is uitgerust met downriggers en alle benodigdheden waar een vismachine niet zonder kan. Er is een toilet aan boord voor je gemak. Je kapitein zorgt voor hengels en molens, evenals kunstaas en een geweldige tijd!
Je moet voor de tocht een lokale visvergunning hebben. Een getijdenvergunning is vereist. Deze informatie is online beschikbaar en de kapitein zal adviseren hoe je deze kunt verkrijgen. Voor zalm heb je een tag/stempel nodig om ze te mogen houden, dus zorg ervoor dat je er een koopt bij je vergunning. Een paar dingen om mee te nemen zijn een zonnebril, zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray), en water in flessen. Alcohol is toegestaan aan boord.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day and a better Captain. Dave was extremely thoughtful and worked with us to create the family fishing experience we were looking for. It’s called fishing, not catching as I had to remind the kids, but Dave did his best to find us fish and get the those hook ups!! 4 hours goes fast, so would recommend the full day trip in the future- but wow- Dave made sure we filled every minute with good vibes and thoughts of big fish. We feasted like kings on Coho, and Rockfish Tacos.
Highly recommend a trip with Dave for serious fisherman, families and anyone in between.

Highly recommend Bonzai and Dave! It was our first time out fishing in the ocean and despite my dad getting sea sick at first & my mom's limited mobility, Dave went out of his way to make sure we all had a great experience! He helped us reel in fish and gave us really good tips. He worked really hard & you can tell he really wanted us to get our catch on the boat.
The boat itself was comfortable with lots of room for 4 of us plus Dave.
