There’s no guarantee when you’re fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Amberjack, Queenfish, Barramundi, Yellowtail Snapper, Giant Trevally, and more with any luck. On these trips, it’s common to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Capt. Olandus will bring you aboard a 51’ Bertram cruiser with a capacity for 17 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t leave home without bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
