Make the most of your time on Florida’s Emerald Coast and go fishing with Small Wave Charters. Captain Sean will be your guide in and around Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, and Navarre Florida, giving you access to local experience.

Species like Speckled Trout, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, Tarpon, and more are in the cards, depending on the season.

Capt. Sean is an enthusiastic fly fishing guide. The skiff is set up with top-of-the-line fly fishing gear from brands like 3-Tand reels, Forgotten Coast Outfitters, Sage, Orvis, and other top companies. All flies are provided, with most being tied by Sean to match local baits. Small Wave Charters also offers light spinning tackle trips (LT) with all lures and live bait provided. All tackle is from reputable manufacturers.

Small Wave Charters is a kid-friendly charter service, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Child-sized life vests are available on board if you elect to bring a kid along for the adventure. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You’ll step aboard 20' Xpress H20B, capable of carrying 4 clients plus all you snacks and catch of the day. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Sean will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures, and live bait if required for the day.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. There will be water provided on board, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Exciting Trip, Great for All Experience Levels

Half Day Trip – Inshore (LT) on July 8, 2025 • 2 adults

The fish weren't working well the day of our trip, but Sean still made it a great morning! We had three inexperienced fishermen, two were teenagers. He was patient with all of us and took time to show us the basics and how to use each type of lure. He took us to a variety of spots and was willing to change things up to try to get us on fish. There were lots of spots he found with plenty of fish, but the fish just overall weren't hungry. Still, we caught a few and also had some that got away. We saw sharks and dolphins up close. It was exciting trying to catch a shark! The scenery was beautiful. Sean was enjoyable and friendly. He has a great passion for fishing and is very knowledgeable. We loved our time on the water and look forward to booking Sean again. 100% recommend!!

This is my second trip with Captain Sean, this time was for the kiddos. My children are 3 & 8 years old and captain Sean catered to their every need. We caught multiple species of fish and have the photos to cement the memories. Captain Sean taught some young anglers some great tips today about safe boating behavior and how to rig live bait. Its hard to best catching a fish on the first cast but Captain Sean had the skill today! Everything was fantastic, the kids and I will be back next spring

Amazing Time on the Water!

What an incredible trip with Captain Sean. We booked the early morning trip 6-10 and he got us on the fish immediately! He was great to talk to and will recommend him to all of my friends. Next time we are in Pensacola, we will book again! He was patient with my kids and had different options for lures. Thank you Sean for helping creating this memory my kids and I will have forever!
