Whether it’s your first fishing experience or you are a seasoned fisherperson, we will strive to make your day memorable. The Ms. Conduct is a well-equipped 35’ Bertram. She is the perfect-sized boat for Kona waters. We can fish lighter tackle up to heavy-duty #130.

Kona is the Pacific Blue Marlin capital of the world, however, we are blessed with a chance to catch many other pelagic species such as Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Short-nosed Spearfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Albacore, Skipjack Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. Depending on the time of year you may also spot a variety of whales and porpoises. We will clean and bag your catch up to 100 pounds. Most marlin are released on this boat.

Trips are 4, 6, and 8 hours and we can customize the time to accommodate your schedule better. Be sure to bring whatever you’d like to eat and drink for your trip and be sure to remember sunglasses and sunscreen as the sun on the ocean can be unforgiving.

The captain and crew work very hard to maintain the boat and equipment so you can have a worry-free day. Tipping the crew is greatly appreciated. A 10-20% tip is average and is split equally between captain and crew.

Caught a Wahoo. Cool Captain and 1st Mate.

Half Day Trip (PM) on June 18, 2025 • 5 adults

We booked the afternoon trip for our group of 5. We arrived at the boat around 1230 and Jason and TJ were getting everything ready. They let us on the boat when we showed up. Went over the rules and safety info and we even went out earlier than 1pm. Jason was straight up with us that it had been really slow that day, he said 30 something boats went out that day and only 4 had caught anything. He shared that they didn’t get any bites during their morning trip. With that info he gave us the option to go for the big trophy type fish or to just fish for wahoo and smaller fish which we might have better luck doing. We picked the to go for wahoo. Even though we left before 1pm, we stayed out longer than the 4 hours. We ended getting a bite and catching one wahoo about 10 minutes before we were about to be back at the harbor. TJ was awesome helping us get the fish on the boat. And Jason was awesome cleaning the fish and preparing it for us to take back to our hotel. We took the fish back home and had it sashimi style, made ceviche, and had fish tacos. We recommend booking with Ms. Conduct!

I really enjoyed the laid back welcoming vibe of this crew. Talking to them you can tell they love to fish and it felt like we were out on the water with friends we had known forever. They changed up the tackle and techniques in order to put us on a variety of species. They are NOT a lazy throw it in autopilot kind of operation. They ARE the hardworking fellow fisherman kind of outfit. My husband and I took all of our adult kids so I really really appreciated how great these guys were. I had to cut our charter an hour short bc my girls and I were so sea sick. Captain Jason was soooo nice about it! Book with them. You wont regret it & if you dont catch anything then it WONT be because they didn't try. Captain Jason- tight lines bro! If we return to Kona, we will definitely book with you again.

Unforgettable Day on the Water with the Incredible Jason & Jason Crew!

Our family had an absolutely unforgettable experience aboard Ms Conduct with Jason and Jason! From the moment we stepped on the boat, they were professional, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. They handled our crew of kids with ease, making the trip fun and educational by teaching us about the fish we were catching and the surrounding area. Their expertise really shined when they took us straight to the best fishing spots, we landed a 250lb marlin, a 35lb billfish, and several sizeable tuna! It was truly the fishing day of a lifetime. They even filleted the fish for us afterward and recommended a great restaurant where we had our fresh catch prepared. Jason and Jason made this trip not just about the fishing, but about creating memories. We can’t thank them enough for such a perfect day. Highly recommend Ms Conduct for anyone looking for a top-tier fishing adventure!

Jason and Ian were amazing – total pros! My son hooked a big marlin right away, but unfortunately, it got away. He was bummed, but the crew went above and beyond to find some tuna, giving his 13-year-old arms a good workout. Ms. Conduct was incredibly comfortable, and I didn’t even realize how I had roughed it on other charters until I experienced this one. The cabin was a great escape from the sun, with cozy furniture that made it feel like a dream after sleeping in crappy Airbnb beds. I even nodded off a couple of times, I got to relax while the boys did their thing. It was such a great day, and we’ll definitely book again the next time we’re on the Big Island.

I took my son-in-law on an afternoon trip. He is from the Midwest, had never tried deep sea fishing, and wanted to learn the techniques. Josh and Ian were friendly and personable, and spent a fair about of time teaching him about the lures, spreads, reels, and use of fighting chair. We had bites, but couldn't land what bit. We had an unexpected bonus: We saw whales breaching as we first started, and on the return to harbor troll, there was a juvenile whale who fully breached several times in a row. It was quite a show. Would recommend this crew and boat for this and longer trips. They made every effort to find and attract fish, and were fun to fish with. They've been on the water a lot, and it shows.

Aloha Douglas, thanks so much for the review. I know the whole crew gets frustrated when the fish bite but don't stick. When they take line and then jump off. Super exciting that you were able to witness it and that you also had an epic showing from the whales. Everyday on the ocean is different and we're always thankful for the opportunities it presents. Hope you'll come back out with us again and we'll grab those ones that escapes this time :)
