Limieten zijn gebruikelijk in dit ongelooflijke visgebied.
Het hele jaar door kun je Breedbekbaars vangen en laat ons je vertellen dat het niet voor niets de Breedbekbaars-hoofdstad van de wereld wordt genoemd! Het vissen op Amerikaanse Gele Baars in de herfst is van wereldklasse. Erie heeft wereldklasse Kleinbekbaars-vissen, maar dit is enigszins seizoensgebonden, dus vraag naar de beste tijden om te vangen.
Trips met Lake Erie Sportfishing Charters zijn kindvriendelijk! Als je geen zwemvest op kindermaat hebt, geen zorgen, we hebben er twee aan boord voor kinderen onder de 90 pond! Als je er meer dan twee nodig hebt, vraag het gerust!
Je trip begint aan boord van een 27' Baha Cruisers walkaround met ruimte voor 6 volwassenen. Het heeft gloednieuwe Garmin-elektronica en Garmin-autopilot om het zware werk te doen en je op de vis te houden terwijl jij druk bezig bent ze binnen te halen! Schipper Tyler heeft hengels en molens voor je, samen met kunstaas en alles wat je nodig hebt om vis te vangen. Je hoeft alleen maar een goede instelling en de bereidheid om te leren mee te nemen. Dit is vissen op zeer hoog toernooiniveau! Je kunt er meteen bij komen en met ons de lijnen uitzetten of gewoon het leuke werk doen en ze binnenhalen zodra we beet hebben!
Voordat je aan boord komt, zorg ervoor dat je een lokale visvergunning hebt voor iedereen in je groep. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of je kunt het aan de schipper vragen. Je kunt niets fout doen als je zonnebrandcrème, een hoed, flessenwater en een zonnebril meeneemt. Water/lichte snacks zijn voor je beschikbaar. Alcohol is toegestaan in matige hoeveelheden, maar je moet sterke drank en glazen flessen vermijden. Er zullen wat lichte snacks aan boord worden verstrekt.

Couldn’t ask for a better trip!

We put our trust in Captain Dustin for our son’s birthday gift and he did not disappoint. We did a 4 hour walleye trip and it was amazing! Dustin and his 1st mate, Bob knew where to find fish and how to put them in the boat. More importantly, they devoted a lot of attention to teaching the boys how to find fish and about the fishing rigs - how they work and how to deploy them. By the half way point of the trip, my son was setting rigs out on his own, it was awesome! I very much appreciate how the capt. engaged us in the entire process. The boat, the gear, the equipment were all top notch and The crew was amazing. We caught a variety of fish, including several walleye, white perch, yellow perch, sheepshead. The trip exceeded our expectations. The only change I would consider for our next trip is to go a full day instead of a half day! Go with Capt. Dustin and do a full day trip; you wont be disappointed!

Man hearing those words makes everything we do all worth! Nothing like spending quality time on the water with quality people like you! I hope those boys never give up their passion for fishing! They are great young men the kind that I would put through captain schooling and give them a job running their own boat if they are serious when the time comes! Thanks again hopefully we will get another chance to share the water together!

Full Day AM Trip – Trophy Walleye op August 2, 2025 • 2 volwassenen • 2 kinderen
Captain Dustin was a great captain. Worked with us to explain what we were doing showed us how to do some of the set ups. Also, we ran several lines from each side with big boards was a great experience to not only fish, but also learn how to do it. Great experience for myself my son and friends. Even with a hard day while fishing as it’s warm this time of the year we still caught several fish overall including a 27 inch walleye and several other great keepers. Definitely plan to return to fish with Captain Dustin again hopefully in the spring when more fish are in the area.

The captain was very knowledgeable and willing to explain the techniques to us. We had two younger kids with us and he was more than willing to help them learn and succeed in our trip. The moment we got to the fishing grounds we had no stop action and barely ever had a time when all our gear was out because the fish were biting as quickly as we could get them out. I highly recommend great with children!

I would highly recommend this charter to anyone. Even though the water was extremely rough during our trip the captain kept everyone safe and made sure we had a good time and caught plenty of fish. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced captain to lead your group on a successful fishing trip you can't go wrong with captain Tyler.
