Kapitein Alex Short organiseert tochten vanuit Destin aan boord van een 26' Worldcat. Deze wateren staan bekend om Snappers en Mahi Mahi en hij laat u zien hoe u ze vangt, of u nu aan het trollen bent of aan het bodemvissen. Met zijn uitgebreide kennis van het gebied heeft hij wel een trucje of twee achter de hand, en de enige manier om te leren is door met hem mee te gaan op het water!
Deze wateren staan bekend om Cobia, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Gag Grouper, Kingfish, Zeilvis, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel en meer – met een beetje geluk hebt u in een mum van tijd strakke lijnen. U kunt verwachten dat u gaat trollen, bodemvissen of misschien iets gespecialiseerders in dit gebied.

Kapitein Alex voorziet u en uw gezelschap van hoogwaardige hengels en molens die u de hele dag comfortabel kunt gebruiken. Er is ook een grote verscheidenheid aan trollingkunstaas beschikbaar.
Uw visvergunning voor de dag is gedekt door de charterboot, kom gewoon klaar voor een goede tijd! Sommige vissen hebben speciale regelgeving, inclusief wanneer u ze mag houden. Vraag het gewoon en uw kapitein kan u meer vertellen. Het wordt aanbevolen om een zonnebril, een hoed, zonnebrandcrème (geen spray) en flessenwater mee te nemen. Alcohol is toegestaan in matigheid, maar probeer sterke drank en glas te vermijden.

Alex is the real deal

My wife and I booked a four hour trip in the bay. The gulf was far too rough for us to fish on the day our trip was booked.
Alex is knowledgeable on history of the area as well as the science behind fishing, and you can tell he really loves what he does. He was on time, friendly, and made us feel comfortable and welcome onboard his vessel.
The thing Alex did that meant the most was the care he took to make sure my wife (who gets motion sickness from time to time) didn’t get sick. Although there’s not a ton he can do to combat that, the fact that he really did care that she didn’t get sick was meaningful. You can tell he doesn’t just do this to make a buck.
If you want to catch fish in Destin with the realest captain out there, book with Life’s 2 Short!

Once-in-a-lifetime trip

If you haven't fished in Destin, you should. And when you do, definitely go out with Alex. Last night, we went out with Alex for the second consecutive day, this time a 2-hr evening shark trip. We caught 2 giant (9ft and 14ft) sandbar sharks and we lost a third one in between the two we got to the boat. We spent literally every minute of the trip pulling them in. Alex was amazing ... very instructive/helpful, patient with my kids, and an all-around good dude. Thanks for a memory that will last a lifetime.

The weather was awful, but
we couldnt reschedule because we didnt have time. This was a gift for my son, and captain Short tried everything he knew to try and get us a fish. He was accomodating, knowledgable, and pleasant. He was also extremely patient with us greenhorns. Will book again!

Great Captain and Great Fish

Had a great trip and Captain Alex is the best! He is knowledgable and made the trip the best experience. Captain Alex helped us get on fish and helped make sure i landed an awesome Amber Jack. Captain helped me to stay focused when i got a little "green around the gills" from the boat rocking. Every aspect was done with care and expertise. I can't say enough good things about this experience. Book with Lifes 2 Short. you won't regret it!
