Kwaliteitsvissen op Meerval met Markybob Catfishing op Watts Bar. Met meer dan 25 jaar ervaring in het vissen op Meerval in deze wateren kan schipper Mark u op Meerval zetten. Er zijn meerdere startlocaties beschikbaar. Neem contact op met schipper Mark voor de startlocatie die het beste bij u past. Watts Bar (Rockwood, Kingston, Spring City, Ten Mile), Watts Bar Tailwaters behoren tot de beschikbare startlocaties.
U kunt verwachten te vissen op Blauwe Meerval en Platkopmeerval, waarvan sommige bijna 50 lbs. of meer kunnen wegen. Er zijn ook speciale excursies beschikbaar om Skipjack Haring en Witte Baars te vangen/houden, afhankelijk van het seizoen. U kunt verwachten te vissen met zwaar materiaal waarbij verschillende Tennessee River-technieken worden gebruikt (slepen/vlakboard, driftvissen, zwevend, bodemcontact, drijvertuig en bodemtuig).
Neem het hele gezin mee naar buiten! Kinderen zijn absoluut welkom! Reddingsvesten voor kinderen zijn beschikbaar, maar u kunt ook uw eigen meenemen.
U gaat vissen vanaf een grote, comfortabele 24' Lowe Pontoon aangepast voor het vissen op Meerval, moderne elektronica, GPS-trollingmotor en een comfortabele capaciteit voor 5 passagiers (5 volwassenen of 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen). Kan meer aan, maar de boot wordt vaak te vol met meer dan 5 personen. Het heeft alles wat u nodig heeft voor een productieve dag op het water. Dit vaartuig is rolstoeltoegankelijk. Schipper Mark heeft hengels en molens voor u, samen met alle benodigde uitrusting.
U moet een geldige Tennessee-vergunning kopen en bezitten vóór de trip. Deze informatie is online beschikbaar op GoTennesseeOutdoors of vraag om hulp. Zorg ervoor dat u voorafgaand aan de trip een vergunning heeft. Een paar dingen om mee te nemen: zonnebril, zonnebrandcrème, drankjes en een hoed. Alcohol is in matige mate toegestaan, maar u moet sterke drank en glazen flessen vermijden. Helaas schoont schipper Mark geen vis, maar u kunt vis houden die onder de 15lbs is. Grotere vissen zijn alleen vangen en loslaten omwille van het natuurbehoud.

My son has been catching small catfish for years, but they were always just a pound or two. He really wanted to catch a bigger one that would require a net. Today was his lucky day!! He finally got to pull in a big one. The fish were not cooperating, but Captain Mark put us in some great spots and it paid off. He was very professional, patient, and knowledgeable. We had a great time and my son made a new memory. We will definitely be back to hook more big cats.

Three outstanding trips in one month
5 Hour Trip – Rockwood Catfish op September 12, 2025 • 4 volwassenen
I do not write reviews, but I felt strongly to support Mark for his outstanding knowledge and professionalism as a professional charter guide. I have gone on three charters in one month with him, bringing nine total people. Every person was blown away and amazed by the experience. Every one of these nine people caught the biggest catfish in their life. Now not everybody has caught 40 pound catfish, but every fish is a trophy depending on your experience. 10 pound catfish can still make you smile. We had many fish in the 30+ pound range and those definitely set some high goals to have to break in the future.
One of Mark‘s strengths is sharing his knowledge of this fishery with you while you fish. His 40 years of knowledge identified different kinds of birds, fish, and the history on how the river started and has changed over time.
Haven been a navy rescue swimmer, he puts everybody at ease with the safety of this experience and how any emergency situations should be handled with a very thorough departure pre-brief.
I cannot recommend this experience enough and I’m already planning my next charter

Mark had great communication throughtout the whole process, he got us into fish within 10 minutes and we got into 20 and 30+ lb cats! fun trip, great experience. If you’re looking to get into some hig catfish this charter is for you!

Even before the trip started I knew it would be successful. Great communication the entire time since I booked right up till the morning we fished, then the trip was phenomenal, he is super knowledgeable and loves to share that knowledge. What great with the kids and just an all around great person. Caught great fish even though it's a tough time of year to catch them. Our family visits Tennessee about once a year and we will be reaching out again to book another trip. A+ review

Amazing fishing charter! Captain Mark was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive throughout the trip, always making sure we were in the right spot and had what we needed.
