These waters are known for Catfish, Flathead, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Capt. Ryan runs a 24' SeaArk aluminum fishing boat with room for 3 passengers. It has and all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.

Such an awesome time!!!

4 Hour Trip – Evening on July 5, 2025 • 2 adults

Me and my wife have been wanting to go on a catfishing charter for a long time, we finally decided to while I was off work for a week and I’m so glad we did it!!! We usually bank fish close to where we life so this was a whole new ballgame. We caught 7 in all, my wife caught 4 and I caught 3. The last one she got was 32 pounds!! We released everything we caught but we didn’t catch any less than 13 pounds! It was awesome!! The captain was a great guy and we’ll definitely be trying to come every year from here on out! 10/10!!

I found this charter for my wife and son who were in the area for a baseball tournament. Captain Ryan Lawrence put them on fish they’ll remember for a lifetime. He made it easy to navigate through the logistics of making the trip happen with unknowns and a small window of time, and obviously also knows how to navigate his local waterways and produce some great fishing and memories!

Awesome catfishing experience!

6 Hour AM Trip 7am-1pm on August 1, 2025 • 3 adults

We came to Nashville for a couple days and I booked a charter with Nashville Kats because myself, my husband, and our son love fishing. He was awesome in knowing where the fish would be and we had a great time catching 18 catfish, the biggest being 38 pounds. My son was thrilled. I would absolutely recommend anyone in the area booking with him.

Wet a line with Ryan!

8 Hour Trip on June 22, 2025 • 2 adults

Captain Ryan has the cat fishing locked down to a science. His level of professionalism sets a new bar when I book fishing trips. The boat was very clean, the fishing gear was great and we had a record day! Lots of fun out in the water, 17 fish within an 8hr trip. Ryan puts the work in to catch fish and a great host, 10/10 would recommend.

Visiting Nashville for a softball tournament and booked a trip for my husband, sons and dad. My sons had the best time! It was a great experience all around!! Would definitely recommend to all ages looking for a fishing charter.
