Kapitein Ryan vaart met een 24' SeaArk aluminium visboot met ruimte voor 3 passagiers. De boot heeft alle benodigdheden aan boord. Je kapitein zorgt voor hengels en molens. Levend aas is beschikbaar, maar vraag er wel naar zodat je weet of je het zelf moet vangen.
Voordat je aan boord komt, moet je voor iedereen in je gezelschap een lokale visvergunning kopen. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of je kunt het aan de kapitein vragen. Sommige soorten kunnen beschermd zijn of een merkteken vereisen om ze te mogen houden, dus zorg dat je weet wat je kunt verwachten.
Het is aan te raden om een zonnebril, een hoed, zonnebrandcrème (geen spray) en flessenwater mee te nemen. Als je andere drankjes wilt meenemen, vraag het gerust. Alcohol is niet toegestaan.

Me and my wife have been wanting to go on a catfishing charter for a long time, we finally decided to while I was off work for a week and I’m so glad we did it!!! We usually bank fish close to where we life so this was a whole new ballgame. We caught 7 in all, my wife caught 4 and I caught 3. The last one she got was 32 pounds!! We released everything we caught but we didn’t catch any less than 13 pounds! It was awesome!! The captain was a great guy and we’ll definitely be trying to come every year from here on out! 10/10!!

I had a friends Son fly in from the West Coast and he wanted to fish. I booked with Ryan and am so greatful I did. We landed an 18 pound Blue Cat in the first hour and then proceded to catch a 24,26,38 and a 43 along with a few 15-20’s during the 6 hour trip.
Ryan is awesome! We enjoyed great conversation, laughter and explosive fishing. cant wait to go again!

First catfish charter!

I found this charter for my wife and son who were in the area for a baseball tournament. Captain Ryan Lawrence put them on fish they’ll remember for a lifetime. He made it easy to navigate through the logistics of making the trip happen with unknowns and a small window of time, and obviously also knows how to navigate his local waterways and produce some great fishing and memories!

What a great day with Captain Ryan and my 3 friends! Ryan really knows the areas to hit on the lake and get the fish. We all caught big cats. Once mine was on the line, it felt like I was reeling an old 18 wheeler truck rim, but it turned out to be a 34 pound Cat, what joy! I’ll be recommending Ryan to all my other friends that wanna catch some big cats.
I highly recommend going with Captain Ryan!
