Kom met de Wild Coast Alaska crew mee voor een dagcharter aan boord van de Berserker vanuit Homer, AK. Dagcharters duren 8+ uur en beginnen tussen 6 en 7 uur 's ochtends vanaf onze ligplaats in de Homer Small Boat Harbor.
Alle privé dagcharters worden op maat gemaakt op basis van de wensen van de gasten, weersomstandigheden, getijden, seizoenen en welke vistechnieken/soorten op het moment van uw trip de beste resultaten opleveren. Soorten waar we op vissen zijn onder andere Heilbot, Zalm en Rockfish en kunnen Groenling (Lingcod) omvatten wanneer het seizoen is (na 1 juli). Het is gebruikelijk om meerdere soorten per dag aan boord te krijgen.
Privé Ultimate Charters zijn de ultieme Alaska viservaring! Dit is een lange-afstandstrip ontworpen om grotere vissen te vangen en omvat actief jiggen op Groenling (Lingcod), Yelloweye en grotere Heilbot. Deze trip is afhankelijk van het weer en wordt in prijs verlaagd naar een Privé Dagcharter als de visgronden niet veilig te bereiken zijn.
Naast het geweldige vissen dat Homer, AK te bieden heeft, geniet u van spectaculaire landschappen en wilde dieren, waaronder adelaars, otters en walvissen. Gezinnen zullen de grote verwarmde kajuit met een eigen toilet aan boord waarderen.
Voor degenen die geïnteresseerd zijn in accommodatiemogelijkheden, laat het ons weten en we kunnen helpen met accommodaties.
U krijgt de hulp van een eerste maat om u op vis te zetten. Maats werken hard om uw trip te laten slagen, dus een fooi van 20% is gebruikelijk.

Great Day Out of Homer
Halibut + Captain's Choice op August 31, 2025 • 3 volwassenen
Super fun charter with Captain Karl and his deckhand (and son) Cody. Rough conditions (weather-wise) prevented us from doing the multi-species trip that was going to include Rockfish—it was a bummer but out of everyone’s control. Captain Karl put us on the halibut and everyone got their over and under keepers. I had a nicer one that hooked up that got off. We also caught a spiny dogfish, skate, a couple sculpin, and a small flounder. This was the first season with their new boat upgrade and the boat was really comfortable and the layout was efficient. Deckhand Cody rigged up the equipment and made it look easy. When a fish hooked on they let the fisherman do everything up until the fish gets to the boat when it is gaffed. It was a great day overall with a rock-solid crew! Thanks again to Wild Coast Alaska — Charter Fishing!

Be prepared for an awesome day

Capt. Karl and Deckmate Cody know where the fish are and they put you on them. We went for the halibut and captains choice combo day and it didn't disappoint. We all hit our limit on halibut and rockfish and nearly hit the limit on cod but somehow missed it slightly. With all of the fish coming on the boat so quickly we ended up a couple short but no one was complaining. Honestly we were all pretty worn out from reeling up all of the fish all day long. After we were done for the day we got our glory photos with a deck full of fish and then Cody went to work filleting everything on the boat ride back to the harbor. By the time we were back everything was cleaned and bagged and ready to go to the processor for packaging and flash freezing to take back home with us. We had a full boat with 6 anglers and only 4 fishing at any given time. You think you may want to be fishing the entire time, but trust me you'll be thankful when it's your time to tap out and watch for a bit.

A full day fishing for halibut and cod out of Homer on the Berserker with Captain Karl and Deckhand Cody. The skies were cloudy with a little rain occasionally, however the winds were light. Capt Karl put us right on the fish and in no time everybody has limited on halibut. Then targeted cod. The cod weren't biting too much but still managed to catch enough for 1.5 per person. The Berserker is a well maintained and comfortable boat. Highly recommend this charter. Capt Karl and crew will do their best to ensure you get some fish.

My family and I had an great day from start to finish. The boat is really nice and well equipped. Karl is very knowledgeable and took us to great fishing areas. Cody was a fantastic deck hand. He busted his butt and nobody wanted for anything. Both have plenty experience to get the job done safely and they're very easy to get along with. Highly recommend! 10 out of day! My wife, daughter and I will be back next season and we can't wait!

100% recommend fishing charter with Captain Karl and his deckhand Cody! They were both phenomenal. Not only did Captain Karl keep in contact with us a few weeks prior to the trip—he called the evening before to check in. His deckhand Cody was extremely helpful and super friendly to talk with. He walked us through everything and was super proficient! We had a great day fishing and would go out again with this team!!
