Hoping to cast a line in Pensacola? Make it happen, with Strippin’-N-Rippin’ Charter Fishing! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Shawn is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for Amberjack, Sheepshead, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Redfish, Mackerel, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. During the trip you might be fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 24’ Sea Fox center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait and frozen bait provided.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask your captain, and he can tell you more. A few items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, bottled water/drinks, snacks, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is BYOB. If you are in need of lodging feel free to ask, as we own several condos in the Gulf Shores, Al area.

Great experience, family friendly!!!

I was a little unsure if I should bring my eight year old daughter, but instantly felt comfortable with the Captain’s demeanor and helpful approach with her.
We found all the great fishing spots and kept the lines active all day. At least 5 different species, including some we were able to take back for dinner (tasty, in season variety). I think we have at least a few pictures that will make their website!!
Great memories with my kids… awesome fishing trip!

My friends and I recently booked a half-day trip with Strippin’-N-Rippin’ Charter Fishing and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! If you're looking for a top-notch fishing adventure look no further.
On the day of the charter, we were greeted by Captain Eric and his first mate, Ethan. These guys are true professionals – not only are they incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters and where the fish are biting, but they're also genuinely passionate about fishing and ensuring their guests have a great time. They were patient with the less experienced anglers in our group, offering helpful tips and tricks, and celebrated every catch with us. Even during the slower moments, the crew kept the energy up and shared interesting stories and local knowledge.
Overall, our trip with Strippin’-N-Rippin’ Charter Fishing exceeded all expectations. It was more than just a fishing trip; it was a memorable day out on the water with a fantastic crew. We're already planning our next adventure with them! Highly, highly recommend!

Excellent fishing experience

We had a great time fishing with Captain Shawn! We fished several offshore spots and had fish at every stop. Captain Shawn was informative and friendly. He fit right in with our crew. It was like we had an additional person in our group. My Dad, Son, Cousin and myself made great memories and had great conversations while fishing with Shawn. We will definitely be booking another trip next time we are in the Pensacola area!

Capt Eric did everything right in my book. He was on time, navigated through the head sea on the way out to the reef like a pro, put us on fish and got us back to port safely. We caught our limit of snapper minus one, giving the tax man was lurking around. We also got some mangroves as well as the biggest almaco jack I've ever caught. My parents are a little older now and he went above and beyond making sure they were comfortable and catching. I would recommend this charter service to anyone
