Klaar om een lijn uit te werpen in Punta Gorda? Dan heeft Chum Em Up Charters een trip met jouw naam erop! Je gids voor de dag is Captain Michael, die je toegang geeft tot jarenlange sportvisserij-ervaring.
Deze wateren staan bekend om Binnensnoek, Gevlekte Ombervis, Tarpon, Grijze Zeebaars, Schaapskopbrasem, Zwartpunthaai, Paardmakreel, Gag Tandbaars, Batjauwvis, Trommelvis, Redfish en meer – met een beetje geluk laten ze je molen gillen.
Op de dag van je trip ga je waarschijnlijk bodemvissen met licht materiaal.
Je werpt je lijnen uit vanaf een 20' Center console met capaciteit voor 3 passagiers. Het komt met alle essentiële zaken waar geen vismachine zonder kan.
Hengels, molens en materiaal worden gedekt door de charter, samen met kunstaas. Levend aas is inbegrepen, maar het is goed om hierover te vragen zodat je weet of je het zelf moet vangen.
De charterboot dekt je visvergunning, dus je kunt er direct naartoe rijden en zonder gedoe aan boord komen! Sommige vissen hebben speciale regelgeving, inclusief wanneer je ze mag houden. Vraag het gewoon en je schipper kan je meer vertellen.
Het is altijd verstandig om zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray), flessenwater en een zonnebril mee te nemen. Als je andere drankjes wilt meenemen, vraag het gerust. Alcohol is toegestaan in matige hoeveelheden, zolang je sterke drank en glazen flessen vermijdt.

April fishing trip
Full Day Trip op April 15, 2026 • 2 volwassenen
My husband and I fished 2 days with Mike. He was knowledgeable, personable and a lot of fun to fish with and he expertly guided us to some fantastic fishing spots. We were able to pick up a variety of fish and we had 2 very enjoyable days on the water. His boat is very comfortable for the ride as well as to fish on. He also accommodated us by picking us up at Fishermens Village where we were staying. We highly recommend him!

Half day tarpon trip op November 28, 2025 • 2 volwassenen
We had a fantastic day out on the water with Michael! Conditions were a bit tricky with a fresh breeze and very low tide, but he adjusted the trip perfectly and put us right on the fish. We ended up catching plenty, and just as memorable was the great conversation and time spent with him. Michael’s knowledge, adaptability, and easygoing personality made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend his charter if you’re looking for both a successful and fun day of fishing in Punta Gorda!

Great day on the water!

Mike is great! Last year, we tried twice but couldn’t make it out. This year, we tried twice and finally made it out the second day. We had great luck with snappers and trout. Mike knew the good spots and had lots of bait to keep us fishing. Bring sunscreen, water and snacks. You’ll have a great time!

What a great experience!

My nephew and I decided on a last minute trip to Florida. We booked this charter last minute and Captain Mike couldn't have been a better choice. He reached out right away and asked what we were looking to catch. I told him that we have never caught a tarpon before. Lo and behold, the first spot he took us to, not only did we catch a tarpon, but multiple! Including a monster 40 lb one. Captain Mike knows his spots and will get you what you are looking for. Could not recommend this enough. If you are in any way hesitant to book this charter, don't be. His knowledge and versatility around the water is incredible. We will be back at any chance we get.

This captain mike is a true genuine guy. It's what he loves to do and is very important to him for you to have the best experience. I didn't know when it was a good time of day for good fishing. He called me and said I cant do this switch to this time, if you can. and I'm so glad I did . He didnt just want to take my money and have a bad experience. My son and I were double hooked at every spot. Fish after fish. He is good at keeping you in the right current conditions were the fish are. We fish several spots and when time was up he wasn't worried about it we all were having fun. I saved his number no matter what part of Florida our next trip is we will be calling for another trip. GREAT CAPTIN, GREAT PERSON, ... Mike , Nick and I had one of the funniest experiences with you that we ever had.
