First timers Grampa, Son in law, and Grandson. Capt. Dillan & First Mate Chalem cheerfully arrived promptly at 7:45am with boat, bait & gear ready to go. He explained our strategy as we were motoring out to open water where tackle was rigged and trolling commenced. First reel screamed at 8:40am as the line unwound faster than speeding bullet. The fight was on! Grandson was first up on the crank as Capt. Dillan barked constructive encouragement and Chalem was clearing the deck in anticipation of successfully landing whatever was on the end of our line. Although he is a strong lad, Grandson’s arm was spent and our fish was still in command. Son in law then jumped in the crank seat with fresh muscle and started to tire the fish and gain some line, but he too, could not overcome the opposing force under the sea. Finally, when the fish was tired & reaching the end of his rope, Grampa took the hot seat for the final approach. After a few spectacular leaps out of the water, Capt. Dillan hauled in the catch with his gaff hook. A 40lb+ Wahoo! Chalem subdued the thrashing mouthful of teeth with his bat and our prize was immediately packed in at the ready ice chest. While our adrenaline was still pumping and high 5’s were still slapping, Capt. Dillan & Chalem were preparing the rigs for the next opportunity. When we returned to the docks, Capt. Dillan filleted & cleaned a large tail section for us and our evening dinner was grilled Wahoo with rice, beans, Family and great stories! We highly recommend Seablu Charters with Capt. Capt Dillon and 1st Mate Cailom are the professional real deal! Highly recommend booking them. They simply get you on fish quickly and efficiently maximizing line time in water where it counts. We brought in 2 very large Wahoos; first one in boat within 35 minutes. Also boated a very nice size Barracuda. To top it all off, we caught a variety of smaller (not necessarily small though) table fish from the reefs and open water to include Blackfin Tuna and Rainbow Runners. We had a fabulous time learning a great deal about the art and science of ocean fishing to include, deep sea trolling and drift fishing, and some great anchored reef and harbor fishing. Both Dillon and Cailom are very approachable, great natured and forthcoming. The stories and instruction were every bit as valuable as the productivity today--a great memorable experience! From the moment we booked, the captain, Dillon, was incredibly communicative and on top of everything. The weather in Cayman was a little iffy on the day we were supposed to head out, but Dillon stayed in constant contact and worked with us to make sure we still had the best possible trip. Yes, it rained—but honestly, it didn’t matter at all. Dillon and his crew made the boat feel warm, welcoming, and fun the entire time. Their positive attitude never wavered, and they truly made the experience worth it. And the fishing?! We caught the BIGGEST wahoo, and it was absolutely delicious. You can tell this crew is passionate about what they do—they’re dedicated to their craft, and it shows in every detail. 10/10 would do it again. Amazing time from start to finish.

this was the 1st time, ive choosen the anglers choice & I see others have rated him such becausr we had a field day today. he put us on a large azz Wahoo in an hour and 41 minutes then baracuda, then blackfin tuma, then 5 rainbow runners, 1 jack, and 7 lobster, but we had to throw 3 back because of their size. Overall we had a blast with Captain Dillon and his first mate Caleb. They were personable, experienced, and came to a dock closest to where we rented our condo, which was an added extra touch. we almost caught a monster as we were leaving, but he kept breaking the line and coming back for more. we finally called it quits after a huge fishing winning day. I'd highly recommend him for any future angler that is considering Sea Blu Charters. He works a couole of poles, but knows what hes dking. ive been with other anglers that work 12 poles at a time and dont have the success that Sea Blu Charters does.

I have booked several charters in different countries, and always am hoping to get a trip like the one I got in the Cayman Islands. The Captin crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, but it was very clear that catching fish was the captain‘s main objective and passion in life. Every time you book a charter, you’re hoping that the captain will be as stoked and motivated on catching big fish as you are and this is true for Captin Dillan. my only regret is that I did not book a weeks worth of trips.
