There’s a fish with your name on it in Puerto Vallarta and Fintastic Fishing PV will help you catch it!

These waters are known for Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Jack Crevalle, Mackerel, Grouper, Bonito, Sailfish, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. Depending on the season and the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, or bottom fishing.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome!

Your adventure will be aboard the 60’ Mikelson yacht with room a capacity of up to 18 guests comfortably. Relax in the air-conditioned cabin with Starling satellite WIFI and multimedia system. Equipped with 2 bathrooms and 2 cabins, making it the perfect boat for you and your group.

You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. The crew will be glad to clean and fillet your catch for you.

Trips are run with the help of a First and Second Mate, who are there to help you fish and keep everyone safe on board. It’s customary to tip the Mates 10%-20% at the end of the day to show your appreciation. The charter boat covers your fishing license, which means all you have to do is show up ready for a good time!

Fintastic Fishing PV is a kid-friendly charter service, so feel free to make a family day out of it! There will be ceviche (prepared from your fresh catch).

You’ll want to bring sunscreen, (non-spray), sunglasses, a hat and a light sweater.

8 Hour Off Shore Trip on January 27, 2026 • 6 adults

Today in Late January out group of 6 adults had the pleasure of fishing the waters outside Punta Mita. This boat is a first class experience with a first class crew. The Boat was phenomenal. Very clean and comfortable. the Captain, Ulysses and the first mate Juan were extrmely knowledgeable, courteous, kind, and eager to make our experience fun for all of us. I knew this time of year we may not catch the big ones, but we were eager to try. Ulysses and I joked about the fishing chances being 50/50 after a couple hours of trolling with no luck. 5 minutes after that, BAM! Bonita, then Red Snapper, then a trophy Mahi Mahi, then as we turned home, Sailfish!! Excellent Crew, Boat, fishing equipment, and the seviche on the return ride home to top it all off! Highly Recommend

Great Time!!

8 Hour Off Shore Trip on December 12, 2025 • 6 adults • 2 children

We had a grea time with our group of eight people fishing with Ulisses on an 8-hour offshore trip!! We almost had a sailfish, but couldnt get the hook to set. Everyone in our group caught multiple fish and we had a great time. When we come back to PV we will definitely book again. The boat is everything you can possibly ask for in a fishing boat. We had young kids and a couple people who werent interested as much in the fishing so they watched netflix in the A/C or were sunbathing on the bow. Hector and Tony were incredible deckhands who truly cared about making sure we had a good time and all of our needs were met. HIGHLY recommend!

HUGE MARLIN SUCCESS

4 Hour Trip (AM) on November 1, 2025 • 10 adults

This was a fishing trip with 10 buddies for my bachelor party. The trip was PERFECT. Fishing started out slow, then we heard the beautiful sound of the reel spinning, that wonderful ZZZZZZZ noise. I heard the master of the boat yell Marlin! It was a hell of a fight and we were able to bring a 200lb blue marlin into the boat. They processed it for us, and were a great crew to spend time with. Would recommend to anyone 100%!!!!! Thanks crew!!!
