Salt Addict is all about fishing the stunning waters of Chincoteague. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Bruce is prepared to put you on fish.

These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna,
Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, Black Seabass, Tilefish, Flounder, Gray Triggerfish, Spadefish, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 36’ Cape Horn center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. You can’t go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
