Spend the day with Sea Smiles Charters and get hooked on fishing in Carolina Beach! Having logged many hours in the ocean, Captain Coby knows them forwards and back.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Spanish Mackerel, Bonito, Bluefish, and King Mackerel on half-day trips! On full-day trips, you might hook into King Mackerel, Tuna, Wahoo, Amber Jack, Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, and any Billfish! For these species, you’re likely to troll using heavy tackle on full days, and light tackle on half days!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 47’ Buddy Davis sportfishing vessel with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods reels, tackle, and bait are supplied for you. Bring your cooler with plenty of ice.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 15–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You don’t need to get a local fishing license before the trip. The Charter provides the fishing license you need for the trip!! Some species may be off-limits so make sure you know what to expect. Fill free to ask as many questions as you want!!

Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock, bottled water, snacks and anything else you’d like to drink! Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just try to avoid bringing glass bottles if you can(if you do bring glass bottles please be careful!!! Smoking is also allowed outside in the cockpit where you’ll be fishing!! Just no smoking INSIDE the boat please!!!

PARKING IS FREE!!! You will be parking in the owner’s front yard or in the parking lot at the end of the neighborhood. Free parking is nearly impossible to find in CB!
