We target Hybrid, Striped Bass and Sand Bass beginning around April and big blue trophy catfish beginning around September.

Lake Tawakoni is 50 miles East of Dallas, TX. I am more concerned with putting fish in you cooler than ending the trip after half a day. We'll fish as long as you like at no extra charge. Duck Cove Marina has excellent hamburgers. Typically, we'll fish in the morning, take a break for lunch and go back out.

Seeing kids catch fish is an absolute joy. They need to wear life jackets, which I provide.

I have a Sun Tracker Pontoon Boat that sits 5 adults comfortably and a 36v Ultrex Quest Minn Kota trolling motor, which provides next generation contour following. I provide everything. Please bring your own snacks and drinks.

Please buy a fishing license before the trip. You can purchase a single day pass at the TPWD site. Be sure to take a picture of it with your cell phone.

Bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock and bottled water.
