Spend the day with the Expert Local captains from Baja Mia and get hooked on fishing in Loreto! All out Capts are ex-commercial fishermen, whos have been fishing these waters since they were kids! Fish with the experts and Get ´em On Board.

These waters are home to Yellowtail Amberjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Roosterfish, Striped Marlin, Black Seabass, and more with any luck.

You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Pancho also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

Trips with Baja Mia are child-friendly, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea – luckily, Capt. Pancho will have some on board!

Capt. Pancho runs a 25' Center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
