Mister Sportfishing welcomes you to the stunning waters of Irving. Your guide for the day is Captain Jonathan, allowing you to benefit from years of sportfishing experience.

These waters are known for Walleye, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep up those energy levels!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 21’ Lund aluminum fishing boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It comes with downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
