Species like Great Barracuda, Cero Mackerel, White Marlin, Atlantic Mackerel, Blue Marlin, Rainbow Runner, Bonito, Red Snapper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Jack Crevalle, Mahi Mahi, Caribbean Queen Snapper, and more inhabit these waters if conditions are right. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 29’ Hydra-Sports walkaround that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Water and soft drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

This trip was perfect since the captain told us to re-schedule due to bad weather. He was mindful enough to let us change to a later date to make the most out of the trip.
The day of the trip was excellent from start to finish. Beginning with a very warm welcome, to simple instructions, to enjoying our trip.
The catch of the day was also excellent, all four of us caught once and most caught twice. Mahi-mahi, Wahoo and shark. The captain also got us around a storm and gave us extra time to fish which was awesome. The co-captain was super helpful and very cool guy. We had the best experience fishing ever.

I recently went on a fishing trip with Captain Luis, my son, and two of my cousins, and it truly turned out to be one of the best experiences we’ve ever had on the water. From the very beginning, Captain Luis and his assistant made us feel welcome, comfortable, and excited about the day ahead.
What really stood out was how hard Captain Luis worked to make sure everyone in our group caught fish. He didn’t just drive the boat – he explained everything about the fishing process, from the techniques to the types of fish we were catching, and he did it with patience and passion. His assistant was equally amazing – very fun, outgoing, and full of energy. Even though I don’t remember his name, he was a huge part of making the trip so enjoyable.
Throughout the entire trip, there were jokes, laughter, and good vibes. Both Luis and his assistant created an atmosphere where everyone could relax, learn, and have fun at the same time. It wasn’t just about fishing – it was about creating memories. My son and my cousins still can’t stop talking about it!
If you’re looking for a captain and crew who are not only professional and knowledgeable, but also genuinely care about giving you the best possible experience, Captain Luis is the one to go with. I would 100% recommend him and his team to anyone – families, friends, or anyone who loves the ocean. We can’t wait to go back for another trip! 🎣👏

Captain Luis and Mate Rafael were top notch and worked hard to get us an excellent offshore fishing experience. They constantly checked the baited lures and readjusted locations on the troll. Got to see dolphins swimming around the boat. We caught 1 Mahi Mahi which was perfect for us to Cook at our VRBO vacation home. They kept trying to find more fish even though radio chatter was reporting not much fishing action for the day. You can’t go wrong with this experienced crew.

The Pier Ten Boat crew are true champions. Captain Luis's experience and energy were noted during our entire day charter. Currently there is a lot of sargassum (brown seaweed) floating in the ocean and Luis knew exactly how to handle the situation to avoid the lures from getting tangled in the stuff. The boat navigated with awesome precision, and we were able to catch quality fish throughout the day. Luis is a true master in deep sea fishing.

Luis the captain and boat owner is responsive, easy to work with, safe and fun!!! He has no issue with changing the day to fish as the day reserved had very choppy seas. He drove the boat through huge swells like a pro! His first mate was also very attentive and professional. I've been on many charters and to be honest this team was my favorite. We caught two beautiful tunas. We were happy they cleaned them and we shared the catch. The mareriot was nice enough to make us sushi and will make the remaining tuna for dinner tonight
