Captain Angie Holland is a 4th generation Biloxi native that has fished these waters for over 4 decades.
She is knowledgeable about all aspects of fishing inshore, offshore, and tournament fishing. She is the only female USCG master captain that solely owns and operates a charter business in Biloxi. She absolutely loves sharing her passion for fishing with others who enjoy being Happy Fishing.
Angie is very passionate about getting kids, individuals with special needs, families and friends together making memories to cherish for a lifetime. She loves sharing her passion for the Gulf Coast with others, giving educational knowledge about what the beautiful coast has to offer.
While on board we fish for a wide variety of species. Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, White Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Pompano, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, Sharks, and many other types of fish. Red Snapper trips are also available during Red Snapper seasons. ( Season opens the beginning of July and closing dates can fluctuate.)
Happy Fishing Charters can accommodate up to 6 guests on a 24’ Sea Hunt Triton. Fishing tackle, rods and reels, bait, fishing licenses, and fishing cleaning and bagging are all provided free of charge.

Husband and Wife’s first saltwater fishing trip

We had a great time. Fished two afternoons. I caught a big bull redfish in less than 30 minutes into the first day. I hooked another one a few minutes later and gave my wife the rod. She fought with it several minutes gave a little slack and it got off. We caught a big mess of white trout several catfish and a few sharks. Next day we changed locations and it was black drum sheepshead and a flounder.
Captain Angie was so good to fish with. All equipment is so well maintained. We can’t wait to go back again.

Captain Angela is amazing! She’s a firecracker of a women. She is very knowledgeable of her job and doesn’t mind educating you. She went above and beyond for our big group of 6. She was on stand by to help us ladies bait, show us how to cast, and answer any and every question. She was rooting for us to have the best trip and catch as many memorable fish as possible. Our patience and her presence paid off! If your hesitant book that trip!! You will NOT be disappointed.

If you’re trying to figure out which charter to book, I’ll make it easy for you, pick Angie at Happy Fishing Charters! She was fantastic from the very beginning to the end. Her personality, knowledge, and overall attitude made my wife and I feel like we were just out fishing with friends. She was great. Truly has a blast and caught some good fish! The boat was also very nice and you could tell she took care of it! We’ll be going again soon!

A cherished memory!!!

After having to reschedule twice, due to weather, we were finally able to fish with Captain Angie on 3/22/25. We had four in our group which included my very sweet 10 year old stepdaughter. Captain Angie was very kind and attentive to her, taking the time to show her how to cast her line while giving her some pointers. On our trip we caught sheepshead, a black drum, and a few white trout.
The weather started out absolutely beautiful with winds that picked up a little, and Captain Angie navigated the water like a true pro-so she gets an extra star in my book!
I highly recommend Happy Fishing Charters for a fun time out on the water making memories with your family. We most definitely will remember it forever.
