Breng de dag door met Castaway STA en raak verslaafd aan vissen in St. Augustine! Uw gids voor de dag is Captain Joe, waardoor u kunt profiteren van meer dan 20 jaar kennis en ervaring.

U gaat waarschijnlijk vissen op Redfish, Grote Geelstaart, Amerikaanse Bot, Zwarte Tandbaars, Batjauwvis, Koningsmakreel, Goudmakreel, Trommelvis, Vermillion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Grijze Zeebaars, en meer, afhankelijk van de omstandigheden.

Op de dag van uw trip gaat u waarschijnlijk bodemvissen om de beste visvangst te behalen met het juiste materiaal. U kunt ook trollen, afhankelijk van de soorten die momenteel in het seizoen zijn.

U stapt aan boord van een volledig uitgeruste Mako Twin Engine 24' Center console die tot 6 passagiers kan vervoeren. Het heeft outriggers, downriggers en alles wat u nodig heeft voor een productieve dag op het water. Ik heb een zeer privé 'Poddy' aan boord, afgeschermd van het zicht, in het voorste boeggedeelte van de boot voor uw gemak.

Al uw vishengels, molens, aas, materiaal en een koelbox gevuld met ijs om uw broodjes, drankjes en snacks in te bewaren, worden verstrekt. Alle visvergunningen voor het hele gezelschap vallen onder de vergunning van de charterschipper. De schipper zal elke legale vangst die u mee naar huis wilt nemen schoonmaken en op ijs verpakken.

Het is altijd verstandig om flessenwater, zonnebril en zonnebrandcrème (geen spray) mee te nemen. Alcohol is in matige hoeveelheden toegestaan, vermijd alleen sterke drank en glazen flessen.

Captain Joe houdt u op de hoogte van de huidige weersomstandigheden en wat u kunt verwachten vóór vertrek.

Great family experience

Captain Joe is AMAZING and created a wonderful experience for my family to get their sea legs!! My husband and I took our three kiddos, ages 16,13,and 10, on their first deep sea fishing trip. All three children had a blast beginning with a fantastic ride out to our fishing spot, spotting a pod of dolphins along the way, and finally stopping over a jackpot of snapper. As soon as our lines were dropped, we had fish on. Captain Joe pivoted from one kid to the next baiting, helping and teaching. My husband had a great time as well, as this was his first trip too. I got a little sea sick, and captain joe was ready with ginger ale and water! While fishing, we saw a MASSIVE turtle. 80 years old at least! It was truly such a wonderful time and memories were made! Our youngest said “Captain Joe was the best!,” and he was right! All three kids talked about the trip and captain joe for the rest of the day. We will be back to fish with him!

His boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, making it a great setup for a half-day trip. My son has Down’s Syndrome and Capt. Joe took the time to teach him how to cast and reel, celebrating every moment with genuine enthusiasm. My son landed his first fish. I wholeheartedly recommend Captain Joe for anyone looking for an inshore fishing adventure in St. Augustine, especially for families or those with special needs. His professionalism, local knowledge, and genuine kindness make him a standout. We’re already looking forward to booking another trip!

Captain Joe was so nice and accommodating as well knowledgeable. He knows exactly where the fish are and didn't waste any time on a spot that wasn't working for us. My mom was so nervous to get out there and he made her feel so comfortable and checked on her regularly through the trip. He's an ethical fisherman which is important to me and we caught so many different types of fish. If you want to have a fun and safe fishing trip while also catching a ton of fish, we would all highly recommend Captain Joe!

Captain Joe was amazing! He took us to some fantastic spots and helped us have an unforgettable time! We caught a LOT of fish! Made my dad’s day with all the fish he caught! Captain Joe went above and beyond to make sure my 2 sons, my wife and myself had a more than excellent experience on the water. Not only a great captain but also a great guy. We caught lots of fish in multiple spots and learned a lot while at sea. Anyone on the fence about doing a charter with your family don’t hesitate to book with Joe. We look forward to booking with him in the future.
