Dog House Charters helpt je de prachtige wateren van Long Island te ervaren. Je gids voor de dag is schipper Ted, waardoor je kunt profiteren van jarenlange professionele ervaring.
Afhankelijk van het seizoen kun je Gestreepte Zeebaars, Blauwbaars, Blauwvintonijn, Geelvintonijn, Witte Tonijn, Amerikaanse Bot, Zwarte Zeebaars en al het andere wat bijt aan de haak slaan. Voor deze soorten ga je waarschijnlijk trollen en bodemvissen met licht of zwaar materiaal.
Je boot voor de dag is een 30' Everglades center console met capaciteit voor 6 passagiers. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een productieve dag op het water. Er is een toilet aan boord voor je gemak. Je vindt hengels, molens en uitrusting klaarliggen, evenals kunstaas. Levend aas is beschikbaar, maar het is goed om hierover te vragen zodat je weet of je het zelf moet vangen.
Je hoeft geen visvergunning te kopen, dus je hoeft alleen maar op te komen dagen klaar voor een goede tijd! Houd er rekening mee dat sommige vissen vangstlimieten of gesloten seizoenen kunnen hebben. Vraag het gewoon en je schipper kan je meer vertellen.
Vergeet niet zonnebrandcrème (geen spray), een hoed en een zonnebril mee te nemen. Drankjes zijn inbegrepen, gratis. Alcohol is toegestaan, maar probeer sterke drank en glazen flessen te vermijden. Er worden wat lichte snacks verstrekt aan boord.

Best Fishing Experience
5 Hour Trip – Reef op August 11, 2025 • 2 volwassenen
We did a 5 hour trip with Captain Ted recently and had a great day on the water. Capt. Ted was easy to communicate with, told us exactly where to meet him and when we showed up at 7 am the boat was ready to go. Capt. Ted and his Crewmate (Emma, his wife) were awesome, there knowledge and experience helped in providing us with a excellent experience. There was plenty of bait on board so we didn’t have to lose time fishing. There were 3 of us on the boat and we caught 15 fish ( fluke, sea bass, and 1 blue fish) during our trip! Captain Ted / Emma are a great team and definitely know where to find the fish. I highly recommend booking a trip with them, if you’re looking for a great fishing experience this is it. Looking forward to coming back next year with my using my new pole and reel.

Captain Ted was great!
Half day - Bass Trip (AM) op June 7, 2025 • 6 volwassenen
I took my son and 3 of his friends out and we had a blast. It was a tough day because visibility was terrible but Captain Ted made sure we got as much fishing time as we could and took us to the best spots he could while making sure we kept safe. Everyone had a great time and we came home with some bluefish and striper. Thanks for a fantastic day!

Had a fun day fishing with Captain Ted and Cameron. Consistently got hits all day as Ted made sure to find fish and reset our location as soon as we drifted away from where the fish were. Both were proactive about making sure we were fully baited and helping get the fish into the boat. Beautiful, comfortable and well maintained boat.

Great day with an amazing captain
Full day - Bass Fishing op May 24, 2025
Ted took us out for a great time even with hard conditions he still got it done for us. He's also very knowledgeable of the fishing in the area not just the species we targeted. Overall an amazing experience and I plan to book with Ted again i hope you all do too.

Teddy is truly one of the greatest captains I have ever encountered while fishing. He is extremely knowledgeable about the local fishing, willing to cooperate and bring you where you please, as well as live line bunker during a fluke trip!
