If you're ready to enjoy fishing on The Kenai Peninsula then book a trip with The River Crew. Having logged many hours on the Kenai River, one of The River Crew guides can tell you all about the local fishery.

Local species include Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho (Silver) Salmon, Sockeye (Red) Salmon, and Rainbow Trout.

You'll target your catch by Back Trolling, Flossing or Drifting.
We use fly rods for Red Salmon and Rainbows but fly fishing experience isn't required.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available and required for anyone under 12. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks for a boost of energy when needed!

Your guide will bring you aboard our Willie Boat with room for up to 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials: rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.
