Zeesnoek, Itajara, Zwarte Tandbaars, Goudmakreel, Grote Geelstaart, Gag Tandbaars, Rode Tandbaars, Koningsmakreel, Yellowfin Tandbaars en meer zijn te vinden in deze wateren, afhankelijk van het seizoen. Je kunt verwachten te gaan spinvissen, trollen, jiggen, bodemvissen, of misschien iets meer gespecialiseerds in dit gebied.
Kinderen zijn welkom, dus het hele gezin kan komen en een dag onthaasten! Als je geen zwemvest op kindermaat hebt, vraag dan of er een aan boord is. Snacks zijn ook een goed idee zodat niemand chagrijnig wordt met een lege maag!
Je vismachine voor de dag is een 26' op maat gemaakte vissersboot die plaats biedt aan maximaal 5 passagiers. Het heeft outriggers, downriggers en alles wat je nodig hebt voor een productieve dag op het water. Hengels, molens en materiaal zijn inbegrepen bij de charter, samen met kunstaas.
Je hoeft geen visvergunning te kopen, kom gewoon klaar voor een goede tijd! Houd er rekening mee dat sommige vissen vangstlimieten of gesloten seizoenen kunnen hebben. Als je niet weet wat je kunt verwachten, vraag het de schipper.
Het is altijd verstandig om zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray) en een zonnebril mee te nemen. Drankjes zijn voor je beschikbaar. Alcohol is toegestaan in matige hoeveelheden, vermijd alleen sterke drank en glazen flessen. Er worden wat lichte snacks aan boord verstrekt.

Great day with a great crew and a big fish!

Captain Nelson and his crew really care about their passengers and work hard to make sure they catch fish. We were a family of 4 and they made sure everyone had a good time. Waters were calm and the fish weren't biting, but Captain and crew kept working hard until we landed a monster barracuda! We also went snorkelling with sea turtles and stingrays, and the whole family had a great day. I strongly recommend Captain Nelson and his Albatros crew!

Amazing Spearfishing Experience!

I had an incredible experience with this spearfishing tour. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The crew was professional, friendly, and made me feel safe the whole time.

The equipment was in excellent condition and high quality. You can really tell they care about safety and performance. They gave clear instructions and helpful tips, which made a big difference — especially for someone who wants to improve.
We spent several hours in the water and the conditions were great. I even managed to catch two lobsters, including one really big one! It was an unforgettable experience.
I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend this provider to anyone looking for a professional and fun spearfishing adventure.

Great Family Day!

We went out with Captain Nelson and Pimienta. They were super nice people to spend a day with. I highly recommend them, specially if you are going out with kids. We were a group of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids - 7 and 11 years old). My son had lots of questions and they were super kind on addressing them and teaching him a few things, such as putting the baits to the hooks, etc. My son was so happy at the end of the fishing tour. He also caught a few barracudas - it was not the best weather for fishing but I can tell Nelson and Pimienta were working hard to find spots where the fishes were. Once done fishing, Nelson took us snorkeling, where we were able to see sea turtles, sting rays and eagle rays. He also taught my son how to clean the fishes that he caught. One of them he made fillets, which he helped us get grilled at the restaurant on the beach (this was not part of the tour, but Nelson made it happen because he cared and he knew that would mean a lot for my son).
I also like the boat departed from the beach in Tulum, which allowed us to enjoy the afternoon on the beach. It is not a big marina, which made it feel very charming and special. Overall, it was a great trip. We were out fishing for 3 to 3.5 hours and snorkeling for 0.5 to 1 hour. After that we ate lunch (including what we caught) in a restaurant by the departure point and swam a little bit on the ocean.

Cant say enough great things about this trip. Captain Nelson and his team were pros frim
the start. Clear communication after booking. Great day on the water. Great boat and equipment. Cap had a cooler with cold drinks and fresh fruit to snack on. Slso had snorkeling gear which we opted to fidh the whole time, but iscan option. Cap is also an experienced diver if that’s your thing. Super knowledgeable about not only fishing but the Mayan history as well. Gave great info on the ruins and what they meant from a sailor’s POV once upon a time. Great catch out on the water with Fish hitting in the first 15 minutes. Missed a few pics but this trip was a blast! This was our 5th charter (different parts of Mexico) but next time we’re in Tulum, we will absolutely be re-booking with Captain Nelson and his crew. You should too! Slso a great Charter for kiddos who are just learning.

An Amazing Day

Nelson and his son Raphael created an amazing day for our family. We caught three fish, a tuna, a mackeral, and a barracuda! The fish were not biting too much but they tried very hard to get us plenty of opportunities! Then we got to see the Tulum Ruins from the water for a fun photo op with our catch. And finally, and perhaps my favourite part, they took us out to snorkel with the sea turtles!! We saw two turtles and two sting ray and lots of reef fish too!! It was a perfect day for our little family!! While my husband can speak Spanish, my daughter and I don’t, so Nelson’s ability to speak English made the trip even more engaging for my daughter and I! We are a very happy family after this fun adventure! Muchas Gracias to Nelson and Raphael!! We highly recommend this trip to anyone!!
