An Incredible Birthday Fishing Trip!
5 Hour Spring Special on March 7, 202610 adults2 children
We had an amazing experience and can’t wait to book again! We planned this trip to celebrate our son’s 12th birthday with our family, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The crew was absolutely incredible! Friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone had a great time. The fishing was great, the atmosphere was fun, and they made the whole experience memorable for our son. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic day on the water!

Vermillion Snapper

---

**Reasoning:** The Vermilion Snapper (Rhomboplites aurorubens) is a species found primarily in the western Atlantic Ocean, particularly in the Gulf of Mexico and along the southeastern United States coast. This species is not native to Dutch-speaking regions (Netherlands, Belgium, Suriname) and does not have an established common name in Dutch among anglers in those areas.

According to the glossary provided, "Vermillion Snapper" is listed, but following the guidelines that fish species not commonly found or referred to in Dutch-speaking regions should retain the English name, and the instruction not to invent new names, the appropriate translation is to keep the original English name.

“Best day of my life” --my 5 year old son
6 Hour Trip (AM) on July 18, 20256 adults1 child
We went out on a particularly rough water day and half our party got seasick and had to go back. The other half toughed it out and it was worth it! I recommend getting your doctor to prescribe a scopolamine patch ahead of time if you’re prone to motion sickness. It helped me tremendously. Captain Gavin did a great job of navigating the rough waters and putting us on top of the fish so we caught a lot, considering the situation. We felt safe and in great hands the entire time. The deck hands Caden and Jeb were great. Caden took my 5 year old son under his wing and showed him how to cut up the squid, prepare the rods, and bait them. I really enjoyed watching my son experience it all for the first time and this charter really made it a great memory for us. We would go out with them again!

Great trip for first-timers
4 Hour Spring Special on May 18, 202510 adults
We had a large family group go out with Capt. Gavin and mate Caden. All but one were either first or second timers out bottom fishing. The crew worked with us to customize our trip so everyone learn the ropes. Crew was great. Boat was comfortable, capable and well- maintained. They knew how to target the species that were available. A nice mess of fish was caught. Smiles were plentiful. Fun was had by all. A think a few new saltwater anglers were born today! Thanks all, We had a great time! Darn those dolphins- lol! Brian V.
