If you're ready to enjoy fishing on the Susquehanna, Juniata

These waters are home to Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, and more, depending on the time of year. On the day of your trip you’ll mostly use light spinning gear or casting gear that will be provided.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You’ll need to bring your preferred food and drinks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Capt. Jason operates a 18' G3 jet boat with capacity for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Jason will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special regulations so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I recently had the pleasure of going on a guided fishing trip with Jason from 2 Rocky Rivers Guide Service on the Susquehanna River. From the moment we set out, it was clear that Jason was not only incredibly skilled but also passionate about fishing and the local waters. Morning trip with 2 rocky rivers guide service

4 Hour Trip – Smallmouth on March 15, 2025

I’m usually a bank fisherman, but to experience the Susquehanna River while being fully immersed in it, was truly an eye opener! Not only did we catch a bunch of fish in the course of four hours, we got to hit a few different spots on the Susquehanna. I didn’t have to bring any equipment, just my self and some grub. The best part of my experience was that I got learn some new techniques that I didn’t even know about, even if I learned them off of YouTube, I wouldn’t have the expertise to know if I was doing it right or wrong. I’ve already got some friends ready to come along, it’s going to be fun fishing season for sure!

Great day on the Susquehanna!

4 Hour Trip – Smallmouth - 3:00 PM on October 5, 2025

Great day on the Susquehanna! With the water so low that other guides weren't even going out but Jason knows the river and did a great job putting us in the right spots at the right time. He started with a go-to spot to make sure we caught fish then moved on to where we were catching the big boys. Nothing like seeing a hooked bass break water!

Great Experience!

6 Hour Trip – Smallmouth on April 5, 2025

My son and I recently went on our second trip with Captain Jason and 2 Rocky Rivers Guide service. Both trips were equally successful. After this trip I realized Jason is an expert navigator of the Susquehanna and the Juniata Rivers. The boat was comfortable and fast, and the gear was top notch. The best part about the trip was seeing the excitement on my son's face when he had a fish on. Thank you Jason for helping me create these unforgettable memories. We will definitely be back for more...

Susquehanna Spring Smallmouth

6 Hour Trip – Smallmouth on March 28, 2025

Had fished with Jason before and jumped at the chance to have him as a guide. Top-of-the-line equipment and very knowledgeable in its use. The bite was on the first hour, but a change in the weather turned it off. No worries. Jason doesn't give up. Change of tactics, then of location, put us back on fish. Great Guy. Would highly recommend him for any age/experience level. (Sorry I can't post pics. My phone is acting up!)
