Here at Palmetto Tide Charters, you will be guided around the Charleston Harbor by a Charleston native, Captain Joseph Christy. Whether you have been fishing for many years or never picked up a rod and reel in your life, Captain Joseph will share his years of fishing and local knowledge with you!

Depending on tides, weather, and customer preferences, Captain Joseph will have your rods bent on anything from 7-foot bull sharks to sub-50-inch Bull Redfish to tasty Trout to filet up and throw in the fryer.

Palmetto Tide Charters welcomes kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Captain Joseph has had much experience with helping kids of all ages reel in fish! "Fishing is a lost art in today's generation due to electronics. I love teaching the younger generation about fishing in hopes they will find a new hobby!"

Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Depending on the type of fishing live or dead bait will also be provided for the trip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by Palmetto Tide Charters, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's recommended to bring a hat, snacks, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock. Waters are included, free of charge.
