Boek je volgende trip met Renegade Fishing Charters en ontdek wat je mist in Islamorada. Met vele uren ervaring op deze getijden kan schipper Cole je alles vertellen over de lokale visserij.
Afhankelijk van het seizoen kun je Grote Geelstaart, Grote Barracuda, Goudmakreel, Zwarte Tandbaars, Koningsmakreel, Zeilvis, Vermillion Snapper, Geelstaart, Zwaardvis, Tegelvis, Zwartvintonijn, Wahoo en alles wat bijt aan de haak slaan. Op deze trips is het gebruikelijk om te trollen en te bodemvissen met licht of zwaar materiaal. Schipper Cole kan je ook laten vissen met vlieger.
Gezinnen die er een dagje uit van maken, zullen blij zijn te horen dat kinderen welkom zijn aan boord! Kinderen moeten zwemvesten dragen, dus vraag of de juiste maat aan boord beschikbaar is. Snacks zijn toegestaan aan boord — neem je favorieten mee!
Je gaat vissen vanaf een 34' Hatteras sportvisboot die plaats biedt aan maximaal 6 passagiers. De boot heeft outriggers, downriggers en alle benodigdheden. Er is een toilet aan boord voor je gemak. Bovendien is dit vaartuig rolstoeltoegankelijk. Je schipper zorgt voor hengels en molens, evenals kunstaas. Levend aas is beschikbaar, maar vraag er zeker naar zodat je weet of je het zelf moet vangen.
Je krijgt hulp van een eerste maat om je op vis te zetten. Het is gebruikelijk om de maat 20% fooi te geven om je waardering te tonen.
Je visvergunning voor de dag wordt gedekt door de charterboot, kom gewoon klaar voor een goede tijd! Houd er rekening mee dat sommige vissen vangstlimieten of gesloten seizoenen kunnen hebben. Vraag het gewoon en je schipper kan je meer vertellen.
Het is altijd verstandig om een zonnebril, zonnebrandcrème (geen spray) en een hoed mee te nemen. Er is water beschikbaar, maar laat de schipper weten of je je eigen drankjes wilt meenemen. Alcohol is toegestaan.

Great Day Out!

The most important part for us was that Captain Colt actually included us in the decision making process. He asked what we wanted out of our trip and acted on it. He also didn’t hesitate to move after a spot wasn’t providing results. Once we got enough for a few dinners, he asked whether we wanted to stay or go after trophy fish. We went after the trophy fish. Didn’t end up catching any, but it wasn’t from lack of effort. We watched several big ones chase our baitfish, just couldn’t force them to bite. Also, First Mate Jessica was not only really helpful with getting us set up all day, but my daughter, wife, and I all agreed that she was just super cool to learn from and talk to. Not sure when we’ll be back to Islamorada, but we will definitely look this boat up again when we do!

BEST CHARTER EVER!

Captain Cole and Jessica...the absolute best. My family has been on several fishing charters in this area over the past year. The Renegade crew by far, provided the best charter my family has gone on. Captain Cole and Jessica were incredible at finding the "it" location to catch, catch, and catch some more. They taught us how to reel and catch the fish correctly without injury to the fish and to be able to ensure the fish got into the boat. If you are looking for a charter were you catch a lot of fish with an outstanding crew....Captain Cole and Jessica on The Renegade is the charter for you!!!!!

I told the charter I wanted to go specifically for sailfish and I couldn’t have chosen a better day despite the wind and temp fighting against me hahaha . Bite was slow in the beginning but Jessica the mate is a machine constantly back and forth making sure all the lines were good to go . Captain was also a hero on this trip cuz it was windy and cold and he didn’t have any protection against wind or splashing water but he kept his eyes on the water looking for signs of sailfish . Ended up catching not one but 2 sailfish , 1 tuna , 1 cobia , and a needlefish. These guys are awesome , knowledgeable, and professional and made me feel like family . Definitely recommend

Full Day Trip w/Captain Cole

Me and my college friends have been doing an annual fishing trip to Islamorada for the past decade and have always bounced around to different charters. Had a few that we liked, but none that we loved. After spending a full day with Captain Cole, we have officially found our go-to charter. Cole is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at finding fish. We caught our limit of dolphin and had a blast interacting with Cole and his first mate. We were talking to him as if we had known him for years and it made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Whether we caught our limit or not, we were going to have a great day. Looking forward to the next one!

Great Fun with Renegade Crew

This was amazing, Jess and Cole were outstanding! I will definitely be back to fish with this crew! They knew exactly what they were doing and worked together so well. Jess made sure everyone had their chance to snag a fish, she is the best 1st Mate!! They suggested a few restaurants that could prepare the fish for us, one was walking distance from our hotel! Delicious! They also were able to suggest a few options to get the fish home. Thanks for a great time, we'll be back.
