Fishing around here will often see you targeting Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Snook, Tarpon, and more with any luck. During the trip you might be spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You'll be dropping lines from a 17' Hoog flats boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Don't leave home without bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
