Playtime Sportfishing is opgericht door schipper James Brayton. Gevestigd in Fort Lauderdale en varend vanuit Port Everglades Inlet, begon schipper James Brayton op jonge leeftijd met sportvissen op 13-jarige leeftijd.
Schipper James vaart met een 38' Hatteras met een enorme kuip, rocker launcher, leefput en een set van 35ft outriggers. Met ruimte voor zes passagiers en een toilet aan boord voor uw gemak voldoet deze Hatteras aan uw comfort. De binnensalon is volledig voorzien van airconditioning en afgesloten.
Deze 38 Hatteras is uitgerust met een ruime salon en toilet die volledig zijn voorzien van airconditioning en een paar 330pk Cummins-motoren die de boot veel kracht en efficiëntie geven tijdens uw trip. Met in totaal 660 pk is de boot in staat om op elke diepte te vissen en bespaart u tijd van plek naar plek.
De boot is volledig uitgerust met een koelbox voor uw drankjes, dranken en eten, evenals een koelbox voor uw vangst van de dag. Visschoonmaakdiensten worden aan het einde van de trip gratis aangeboden. Alle vergunningen en licenties zijn aan boord van het vaartuig en worden voor de trip verstrekt. Eersteklas materiaal en hengels zijn aanwezig met Shimano's meest recente uitrusting.
Een eerste maat zal aan boord zijn voor een effectieve dag vissen. Een fooi van 18-25% is gebruikelijk voor het harde werk van uw maat.
Onze trips bieden de perfecte dag voor u en uw groep, waarbij we alle dieptes, gebieden en technieken voor de dagelijkse omstandigheden benutten. We vangen pelagische soorten op open zee, waaronder Zeilvis, Goudmakreel, Koningsmakreel, Wahoo, Tonijn, Bonito, grote haaien en meer.
Alle veiligheidsuitrusting is aanwezig en garandeert een veilige dag op het water. Kinderen van alle leeftijden zijn welkom en alle zwemvesten en veiligheidsuitrusting worden verstrekt.

We had a great experience with this fishing charter despite some very rough seas. We initially attempted to head out into the ocean, but due to the conditions, we had to turn around. The captain and deckhand were incredibly accommodating and quickly adjusted our trip, setting us up in the canal where the waters were much calmer—perfect for our family.
We were especially grateful for how kind and attentive they were with our two daughters. They truly made the best out of unpredictable Florida weather and ensured we still had an enjoyable and memorable experience.
I would absolutely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a family-friendly fishing trip. Their flexibility, professionalism, and positive attitude made all the difference!

Absolutely Incredible Fishing Trip!!

My wife, our two boys, and I had an unforgettable day on the water. We landed a trophy Mahi along with several blackfin tuna, and the excitement on the kids’ faces made the whole trip worth it. The crew Jen and Jimmy were phenomenal from start to finish. They were patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and stress‑free for all of us.
Whether you’re brand new to fishing or have years of experience, I’d highly recommend this trip. It was truly amazing, and we’ll be talking about it for a long time.

Morning started out great Captain James accommodated my son and I by meeting us an hr early. Then he gave us the option to buy live bait or use spinners. We took him up on the live bait, money well spent. Then his mate went over safety of the boat. She was very helpful, friendly and drives the boat very well. We had very good luck my son caught a kingfish biggest fish he has ever caught due to captains experience and ability to know the area. After he pulled that it in I was lucky enough to pull in a 51” Barracuda which was the biggest fish I have ever caught. This was the best charter my son and I have ever been on. Nothing is guaranteed but we were blessed that day. Captain gave us the option to go for smaller fish and catch more but my son wanted to risk and try for another big one. We overall have had a great time and will deff be looking to rebook with Captain James when back in the area. TY Captain and First Mate. Highly recommend!!!

Had a great experience with capt.Jimmy and mate Christine. Fishing started off slow, which we were trolling at first. When we haven’t got any bites in the first hour or so Capt.Jimmy told Christine let’s use the live bait that they had left over the trip before. After dropping on 3 shipwrecks. All we manage was to have something cut one of our bait off. So we went back on the troll for the rest of the trip. We end up catching 8 black fin tunas. I could tell that when we weren’t catching anything it was frustrating to them for not catching anything. Which I get it from Fishing in the past. That’s why they call it fishing and not catching.

Captain James and First Mate Kevin are real professionals. They run a great charter and will put you on the fish. We caught a trophy Wahoo, a Kingfish, a Mahi Mahi and 6 Blackfin Tuna! Excellent solid Hatteras sportfishing boat and top of the line fishing equipment with kite fishing. Cant wait to fish again with these guys. The Wahoo sushi and seared tuna was delicious. Thanks Capt James and Kevin.
