Species like European Perch, Lake Trout, Pike Perch (Zander), Northern Pike, Wels Catfish, Lake Whitefish, Common Bream, and more are in the cards, depending on the season. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll.

Capt. Riccardo is happy to have kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board.

Your trip begins aboard a 17' Italmarine aluminum fishing boat with room for 2 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Riccardo will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), towels and sunglasses.

Riccardo was an incredible guide; professional, kind, and genuinely passionate about making the experience special. When I couldn’t make the ferry, he didn’t hesitate to boat across Lake Como to pick me up himself, which completely saved the trip. He had everything perfectly prepared and quickly set me up to target Wells catfish and perch. Even though the lucioperca weren’t biting that day, we still had constant action and great conversation. I ended up landing a massive Wells catfish; an experience I’ll never forget! Riccardo’s knowledge of the lake and his attentiveness made it feel effortless to fish successfully and enjoy the day. If you’re visiting Lake Como and want a truly memorable and authentic fishing adventure, I can’t recommend him enough.

When I arrived, mudslides had closed down some of the roads and the boat routes and taxis and cars were hardly running, and I couldn’t get one scheduled to get me to the meeting place for my fishing trip. I messaged my guide and he went above and beyond out of his way to come and pick me up from the nearest port within walking distance to where I was staying, and absolutely made the experience, incredible catching big fish and then dropping me off even closer to where I was staying. Absolutely highly recommend this trip! I will for sure be doing it again!
