We hebben jarenlang gevist in de legendarische wateren van Venice, Louisiana, en we zijn enthousiast om nog meer herinneringen te maken met nog meer gasten. Afhankelijk van het seizoen kun je Redfish, Trommelvis, Batjauwvis, Grijze Zeebaars, Zeebladvis, Amerikaanse Bot, Rode Snapper, Gevlekte Ombervis en wat er verder maar bijt vangen. Je vangt je vangst door te spinvissen, poppen, jiggen, bodemvissen, of misschien iets meer gespecialiseerds in dit gebied.
Je werpt je lijnen uit vanaf een 23' Triton baaibboot die plaats biedt aan maximaal 4 passagiers. Het heeft alle essentiële zaken waar geen vismachine zonder kan. Hengels, molens en materiaal zijn inbegrepen, evenals kunstaas.
Je moet voor de trip een lokale visvergunning kopen. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of je kunt het aan de schipper vragen.
Het wordt aanbevolen om zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray), een hoed, flessenwater en een zonnebril mee te nemen. Als je andere drankjes wilt meenemen, vraag het gerust. Alcohol is toegestaan in matige hoeveelheden, vermijd alleen sterke drank en glazen flessen.

Family day trip
8 Hour Trip – Inshore Venice op October 12, 2025
Wanted to take my family on their first Louisiana marsh trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction than a trip to Venice with Southern Addiction Outfitters. Michael had a well maintained boat, great boat handling skills and quality fishing gear.
I wanted to chase a quantity of fish so the kids could stay busy. 2-3 hook up at a time staying in schools of 15”-17” rat reds while picking up some slots sure made for a fun day. Threw back 3 times as many fish as we kept. Still ended up with a limit of reds, some trout, flounder, black drum, and bass. Plus one heck of a fight on a 42” bull red.
Looking forward to the next go around.

8 Hour Trip – Inshore Venice op September 1, 2025
We had an incredible redfishing trip, the action was nonstop from start to finish. Captain Mike put us right on the fish, and we caught our limits early. The rest of the day was spent catching and releasing some beautiful bull reds that gave us an unforgettable fight. To top it all off, we landed two nice triple tail, which was the cherry on top of a perfect trip.

Great Trip

We had an absolutely incredible day on the water with Capt. Mike! From the moment we stepped on the boat, he made us feel right at home. His knowledge of the area and passion for fishing really showed, he knew exactly where to go, and it wasn’t long before we were hooked up with some beautiful redfish.
