Breng de dag door met Island Adventure Charters en raak verslaafd aan vissen in Galveston! Geboren en getogen op Galveston Island, groeide Eric op met een passie voor vissen. Hij begon op 14-jarige leeftijd als dekknecht en is er sindsdien mee doorgegaan. Met schipper Eric aan het roer ben je in deskundige en ervaren handen.
Hier verandert het vissen elke 60 dagen, er is altijd wel iets te vangen! Redfish, Blacktip Shark, trommelvis, Rode Snapper, Paardmakreel, Schaapskopbrasem, Spaanse Makreel, Amerikaanse Bot, Bull Shark, Schopvis, Gevlekte Ombervis, en meer met een beetje geluk. Je kunt verwachten te spinvissen, poppen, trollen, driftvissen, jiggen, bodemvissen, of misschien iets meer gespecialiseerds in dit gebied.
Schipper Eric gelooft erin om kinderen te leren vissen als ze jong zijn, dus neem gerust het hele gezin mee! Kinderen moeten zwemvesten dragen, dus vraag na of de juiste maat aan boord beschikbaar is. Vergeet ook niet om snacks mee te nemen om je energie op peil te houden tijdens de trip!
Je stapt aan boord van een zeer brede en ruime 32' Rybovich center console met capaciteit voor 6 passagiers. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een productieve dag op het water. Er is een toilet aan boord voor je gemak. Bovendien is dit vaartuig rolstoeltoegankelijk. Een trollingmotor is geïnstalleerd om de vistijd te maximaliseren en nooit tijd te verspillen met een anker! Je vindt hengels, molens en materiaal die op je wachten, evenals kunstaas. Levend aas is beschikbaar, maar vraag er zeker naar zodat je weet of je het zelf moet vangen.
Voordat je aan boord komt, is het noodzakelijk om een lokale visvergunning te kopen voor iedereen in je groep. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of je kunt het aan de schipper vragen. Sommige soorten kunnen beschermd zijn of een tag vereisen om ze te houden, dus zorg ervoor dat je weet wat je kunt verwachten.
Het wordt aanbevolen om flessenwater, zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray) en een zonnebril mee te nemen. Alcohol is toegestaan.

Great fishing trip!!

I am thinking that Zach had some magic bait for us because there was another boat fishing off to the side of us and while they were there, they caught one fish and we caught 12 or 14 in the same time period. Zach helped us keep hooks in the water, quickly removing fish, rebaiting and even rerigging when we "caught" the occasional rock at the jetty. He was happy and cheerful the entire trip. Great guy, wouldn't hesitate to fish with him again. We caught 7 really nice keeper sheepshead and 5 or 6 other species that went back in the water . What a great fishing memory.

a great trip for anyone looking to catch fish

my sons (both teenagers) and my friend joined me for a 4 hour trip on the Gulf. they warned us of rough water but insisted we would be fine. either way, took us to several spots on the jettys where captain Zach took charge. baiting hooks with shrimp and playing excellent music while netting massive sheepshead, red fish and black drum. he kept extra rods baited and in the water to keep us on the bite the entire time. we moved to a few spots when the bite slowed and we caught over 30 fish on our 4 hour trip. filet's and all. captain Zach had a great attitude and was having just as much fun as we were.
absolutely great time.
would highly recommend sailing with these guys.

THE BEST CHARTER FISHING IN GALVESTON!

Captain Zach is top notch. Excellent equipment, and truly takes your desire to catch fish as a personal mission. He put us on the fish I wanted to catch. I caught my limit of sheep head, puppy drum, along with red fish and huge black drum. This was fishing until your arms can't fight anymore. Fantastic guy to fish with, he truly takes your success as a personal mission. Then when finished and completely shot from catching so many fish I got to rest while he continued to bust his ass and clean all the fish for another 2 hours. Total attention to doing a great job. All bagged up and helped me get my catch to my cooler in my truck. This is who you want if you want the best in Galveston to fish with. Take my word on that.

If you want a enjoyable time with your family and friends, Captain Eric is your man. He was smiling the moment we walked up, grateful for you being on his boat, and excited to show you what the waters of Galveston had to offer. He put us on fish, guided those with little experience, encouraged those with experice and was excited for each as they reeled in their catches. A dudes dude, his knowlegde was evident and his desire for you to have the trip of a lifetime shown through in his service to you. We not only caught fish and had a great time, but gained a friend in the process. Having been on many charters out of Galveston, by far my favorite I’ve ever been on.

Rough weather day. Zack did a great job checking with our level of comfortably with waves before taking us out to the spot we caught sheepheads and catfish. Zack notice after a while I started to struggle with the waves and smoothly and safely relocated us to calmer water for the rest of the trip. I highly recommend.
