Als je in Cabo San Lucas een hengel gaat uitgooien, hoef je niet verder te zoeken dan Blue Sea Sportfishing. Kapitein Johnny zal je gids zijn en zijn hengelervaring met je delen.
Deze wateren staan bekend om Black Marlin, Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, Striped Marlin, Zeilvis, Blue Marlin, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Roosterfish, Skipjack, Snowy Grouper, Bonefish, Cero Mackerel, en meer – met een beetje geluk laten ze je molen gillen.
Tijdens de trip kun je vissen met zwaar materiaal, trollen, jigging, bodemvissen, of misschien iets meer gespecialiseerds in dit gebied.
Trips met Blue Sea Sportfishing zijn leuk voor alle leeftijden, dus voel je vrij om er een familiedag van te maken! Vraag gerust of er reddingsvesten op kindermaat beschikbaar zijn, anders moet je je eigen meenemen. En je kunt niets fout doen met snacks om je energie tijdens de trip op peil te houden!
Kapt. Johnny neemt je mee aan boord van een 22' Center console met capaciteit voor 2 passagiers. Het heeft outriggers, alle benodigdheden. Er is een toilet aan boord voor je gemak.
Hengels, molens en tackle worden verstrekt, samen met kunstaas.
Voordat je aan boord gaat, kan het nodig zijn om een lokale visvergunning te kopen voor iedereen in je groep. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of je kunt het aan de kapitein vragen. Sommige soorten kunnen beschermd zijn of een tag vereisen om ze te houden, dus zorg ervoor dat je weet wat je kunt verwachten.
Het wordt aanbevolen om zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray), flessenwater en een zonnebril mee te nemen. Als je andere dranken wilt meenemen, vraag het gerust. Alcohol is toegestaan met mate, zolang je sterke drank en glazen flessen vermijdt.

Great Trip and great captain

My son and I had a great day with Johnny. While the weather didn't cooperate and cut the original trip short, Johnny did everything he could to adjust accordingly and make sure we could still go. He was great with the communication before the trip, reaching out to us proactively to provide updates on the weather. We had an incredible morning and caught about 12 fish including a rooster fish. Johnny is very knowledgeable and knows the right spots. When we started the morning we were the only boat in the area and when we left there were about a dozen boats in our area. I would absolutely book another trip with Johnny again.

Johnny is a top notch captain

I've been fishing for over 40 years, and been out with plenty of charter captains. Johnny is top notch and highly recommended. The panga we went out on was the nicest I've ever been on, modern electronics, outriggers, bimini top for shade, new engine, a nice sound system for tunes, and super clean with high end rods and reels. He went above and beyond to put me on some fish. Johnny is incredibly knowledgeable and relentless in his pursuit of fish, the two best qualities in a captain. He is an excellent angler and I look forward to fishing with him again.

Once in A Lifetime Day - Blue Marlin
Full Day Trip op February 26, 2026 • 2 volwassenen
My friend and I did a full day with Johnny Sánchez. Despite it not being the best week for marlin fishing, Johnny took us out to the deep at our request. Neither my friend or I had ever tried sportfishing ever. Johnny did an excellent job teaching us. at 8:43, we hooked our fist fish, which we thought initially may have be a tuna. Johnny handed me the rod, and quickly realized it was a marlin. I was in disbelief. Once we saw the fish jump, we realized it was a large blue marlin. It was a 3 hour battle, and Johnny captained the boat incredibly well while instructing us to catch our first large fish.
In the end, we pulled this big girl in the boat. It pulled us an additional 8 miles offshore - which resulted in a several hour ride back to the marina.
Johnny is a great man and captain, and assisted us in the best day of fishing we could ever ask for or imagine.

We caught a mahi mahi!

My husband and I went out this morning with Johnny, our captain, on a 22' panga. We were both hoping for something big and knew it would take time. Johnny was super positive and strategic with his course based on what we asked for. We got one Marlin bite/jump after we hooked it but it got away. So is fishing! lol Tried again but when we decided to troll back inland, we got something on the line. Amazing, dual effort by myself and husband! It was a beautiful Mahi Mahi! We were satisfied with that but Johnny knew we wanted to try for a Rooster fish. No luck but still amazing! Even saw a humpback whale breaching!
Just an absolute delight! Highly recommend Johnny!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Johnny and his fishing charter. Communication was outstanding from the start! Johnny proactively reached out before our trip to let us know the weather was going to be too windy to fish safely. Instead of canceling and leaving us stranded, he went above and beyond to make alternate accommodations so we could still get out on the water and have an amazing experience.
Thanks to his flexibility, knowledge, and determination to give us the best trip possible, we ended up catching a striped marlin, which is a true bucket-list fish for me. It was an unforgettable moment and something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
Johnny genuinely cares about his clients and their experience, and it shows in every detail! I can’t recommend this charter highly enough and would book with Johnny again without hesitation.
