Make the most of your time in Holmes Beach and go fishing with AMI Go Fishing.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Gag Grouper, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Atlantic Mackerel, Redfish, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Black Grouper, Sheepshead, Grunt, and whatever else takes the bait.

You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Your trip begins aboard a 21’ Center console with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.

We didn't want to leave the water

We had the best time! I have been on fishing charters before with shoulder to shoulder people leaving little room for movement and little attention from guides. Not only was Captain Gunner quick to help when needed, but he joined in and added to our joking around. Our trip wasn't just about catching (I won the contest for who kept bait on the hook longest lol) we laughed, we relaxed, we kissed a few fish, we saw dolphin and enjoyed a beautiful day. We will definitely be booking with Captain Gunner when we visit AMI next - hopefully for longer than just 3 hours.

Omgoodness!!!! My first ocean fishing trip. It was fantastic. Captain Gunner made it better than I could have imagined. I got to see dolphins and I caught my first fish. Captain Gunner is outgoing and friendly. He made sure we had a great experience. We will definitely use him again next time we are in Florida.

Loved every second. We saw dolphins, Captain Gunner had them following us in the wake. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen. I caught my first fish. I also got to hold a shark. It was amazing!!!!
