Als je van plan bent om te vissen in Fort Morgan, hoef je niet verder te zoeken dan Blue's Charters.
Deze wateren staan bekend om Trommelvis, Batjauwvis, Amerikaanse Bot, Koningsmakreel, Pompano Horsmakreel, Redfish, Schaapskopbrasem, Rode Snapper, Gevlekte Koningsmakreel, Gevlekte Ombervis, en meer – met een beetje geluk kom je het zelf te weten! Afhankelijk van de soort waar je op vist, kun je je bezighouden met spinvissen, popping, trollen, driftvissen, jiggen, bodemvissen, of misschien iets meer gespecialiseerd in dit gebied. Schipper Sawyer biedt ook Bot-gigging aan.
Trips met Blue's Charters zijn leuk voor alle leeftijden, dus neem gerust het hele gezin mee! Als je geen zwemvest op kinderformaat hebt, vraag dan of er een aan boord is. Klanten worden aangemoedigd om snacks mee te nemen om vermoeidheid tijdens de trip te voorkomen!
Je gaat vissen aan boord van een 24' Kenner center console met capaciteit voor 6 passagiers. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een productieve dag op het water. Hengels, molens en materiaal zijn inbegrepen, evenals kunstaas. Levend aas is beschikbaar, maar het is goed om hierover te vragen zodat je weet of je het zelf moet vangen.
Je hoeft geen visvergunning te kopen, kom gewoon klaar voor een goede tijd! Houd er rekening mee dat je sommige vissen moet terugzetten vanwege regelgeving. Vraag het gewoon en je schipper kan je meer vertellen.
Enkele essentiële zaken om mee te nemen zijn een zonnebril, zonnebrandcrème (geen spray), en water in flessen. Glazen flessen zijn niet toegestaan.

BEST Snapper Trip ever
4 Hour Trip – Red Snapper (AM) op August 2, 2025
We went on a snapper fishing trip with Captain Sawyer, and it was hands down one of the best fishing experiences I’ve ever had. I dont think I would book with anyone else as i know i would be disappointed if it was not as good as this trip. From the moment we left the dock, it was clear that Captain Sawyer knew exactly what he was doing. He put us right on the fish and kept us on them the entire trip.
Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about snapper fishing, but he was very patient and great at helping me since it was my first trip. Whether you’re an experienced or new to offshore fishing, he makes the whole experience fun. He explained everything perfectly!!
The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and Captain Sawyer clearly takes pride in running a professional operation. We caught plenty of snapper and had an absolute blast doing it.
If you’re looking for a great offshore fishing trip with a captain who works hard to put you on fish and make sure everyone has a great time, I highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Sawyer. I’ll definitely be going again.

Half Day With Captain Sawyer
4 Hour Trip – Inshore/Nearshore AM op March 6, 2026
I have fished in Panama City and out of Fort Morgan. Best fishing I've ever seen.We caught some Big Fish. Captain Sawyer was great at putting us on the Fish. Gear and boat was great. If you want a boat ride with little fish go to Panama City. If you want to catch big fish, go to Fort Morgan and take a trip with Captain Sawer. I will be going back. Great job Blue Charters.

Great family experience!

We were looking for something the whole family could enjoy and Captain Sawyer delivered. This was our kids first offshore trip so he made sure they knew what to expect and what they needed to do. He knew where the fish were and the experience was incredible. Our next fishing trip will definitely be with Blue’s Charters.
