Deze wateren staan bekend om Geelvintonijn, Goudmakreel, Blauwvintonijn en meer – met een beetje geluk haalt u er een paar binnen!
Tijdens deze trips kunt u veel zeeleven verwachten, waaronder maar niet beperkt tot walvissen en dolfijnen! Hoewel we graag focussen op jig- en poppingtechnieken met licht materiaal voor blauwvintonijn, zijn er momenten waarop we moeten trollen. Hoewel trollen meestal niet onze voorkeursmethode is, kan het extreem effectief en zeer spannend zijn wanneer meerdere hengels tegelijk afgaan met grote pelagische vissen die uit het water springen om onze aas te eten!
Uw excursie begint aan boord van een 33' Sportfishing met capaciteit voor 6 passagiers. Het schip is uitgerust met alle essentiële zaken waar een vismachine niet zonder kan.
Hengels en molens worden niet voor u verstrekt, dus vraag de schipper naar het meenemen van uw eigen materiaal of het huren ervan tegen extra kosten. Vraag ook naar aas en kunstaas.
Voordat u aan boord komt, moet u mogelijk een lokale visvergunning kopen voor iedereen in uw groep. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of u kunt het de schipper vragen. Sommige soorten kunnen verboden zijn of een speciale tag vereisen, dus zorg ervoor dat u weet wat u kunt verwachten.
Het is nooit een slecht idee om zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray), flessenwater en een zonnebril mee te nemen. Als u andere drankjes wilt meenemen, vraag het gerust. Alcohol is in matige hoeveelheden toegestaan, zolang u sterke drank en glazen flessen vermijdt.

Captain Chris from Keeping It Real Fishing Charter out of Connecticut delivered one of the best fishing trips I’ve ever experienced. From the moment we got lines in the water, it was nonstop tuna action. If you’re looking for incredible tuna fishing, this is the charter to book.
Not only was the fishing amazing, but the entire trip was unforgettable. We were surrounded by incredible ocean wildlife — dolphins swimming alongside the boat and even whales in the distance. The scenery alone would have made the trip worth it, but the constant action made it even better.
Captain Chris is extremely experienced and knowledgeable. He took the time to teach techniques, explain what we were doing, and make sure everyone was comfortable and involved. Whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first time tuna fishing, he makes sure you learn and have a great time.
He had absolutely everything we needed on the boat — all the gear, equipment, and knowledge to make the trip successful — and somehow still offers some of the most affordable charter prices around.
Landon, the first mate super helpful, fun to be around, and kept the energy high the entire trip. He made everything smooth and the whole experience even better.
Between the nonstop action, amazing wildlife sightings, Captain Chris’s expertise, Landon’s great attitude, and the great price, this was easily a five-star experience. Highly recommend Keeping It Real Fishing Charter if you want an unforgettable tuna fishing trip.

Chris and his mates run a top notch operation. Capt. Chris is knowledgeable and proficient on every style of tuna fishing. Capt. Nothing short of a well oiled machine on Keepin' It Reel. Captain Chris & crew do whatever it takes to put you on the fish. Whether you've been fishing for years or taking your kid out for the first time Chris is patient and more than willing to share tips and tricks to get it done. Both boats are up too date with nothing but the best gear and electronics and Chris and crew are great all around people both professionally and personally.
