Our guided canoe, kayak, and backcountry fishing trips take place on remote ponds, hidden lakes, winding rivers, and quiet Adirondack waters that are often only accessible by paddle or short carries. These trips are designed for anglers looking to experience the Adirondacks beyond the roadside, combining fishing, paddling, and wilderness travel into one unforgettable day on the water.
Depending on the season and location, anglers may target Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Splake, Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, and more. Some trips focus on classic remote trout ponds tucked away deep in the woods, while others explore larger lakes and waterways known for bass and pike fishing. Every trip is tailored to the group's experience level, goals, and physical ability.
Our fleet includes canoes, kayaks, and lighter Adirondack-style pack boats chosen specifically for the waters we fish. Guides provide local knowledge, paddling assistance, fishing instruction, and help with gear and techniques throughout the trip. Whether you are a beginner looking to experience Adirondack fishing for the first time or an experienced angler searching for remote waters, these trips offer a true wilderness fishing experience.
Half day and full day trips are available, and many locations can also be incorporated into overnight camping or multi-day canoe adventures. Drinks and snacks are provided on half day trips, while full day trips include drinks, snacks, and lunch. From casting along quiet shorelines at sunrise to watching loons drift across a mountain pond while fishing from a canoe, these trips are about much more than just catching fish — they are about experiencing the Adirondacks the way they were meant to be explored.
